Alone

Staring at his friend’s body like it was an alien about to jump up shouting ‘Surprise!’ but it wasn’t so his friend truly wasn’t moving, breathing, talking, laughing, and whispering crazy things in his ear. He was dead. The person who had shown him a new world was lying on the forest ground unmoving. The person who promised to protect and provide for him is gone. His only hope ~Maybe I should just kill myself and join him, after all, it’s not like I can survive on my own ~ But his dagger wasn’t giving him the power he needed nor the chance to move it closer to his neck. It felt like the dagger had a life of its own. Trying to place the dagger closer to his neck, it moved this process kept happening over and over again, if someone saw him they Would think he killed his friend then decided to kill himself due to guilt or his friend died and he couldn’t live without him so death was the solution and the dagger wasn’t moving in the direction he wanted. Angry at the tug of war going on between him and his dagger he screamed frustrated with his situation. ° You this piece of crap, you better wake up because I think my Dagger is possessed ° Throwing his dagger in any direction tired of this he sat down leaning on the brick wall folding his legs he placed his head on his knees rocking his body and murmuring silly things. Hearing the clouds rumbling he looked up noticing how dark it had become °shit I can’t leave you out here the rain is about to start and I don’t want to get wet and then fall sick after. I’ll be back let me see if I can find us a place to stay.° Leaving he walked dipper into the forest mumbling °I’m so going to die next° °I’m so going to die next ° He kept repeating it like a mantra. Still looking for a place, he came across a Mimi Boulder seeing it made him enraged remembering it was a bigger Boulder that caused the death of his friend and made him friendless, homeless, and alone in the forest. °You b***h! You made my life like this! Ask your husband why he made me lonely and my friend dies, is it because you were separated also!? At least you’re both alive what would you say about my friend! You and your husband are self-° Stopping, he had moved closer to the Boulder when he was talking and he could now see a cave the rock was blocking. But he didn’t know if anything was in it. Touching his sides made him remember how he threw the dagger aimlessly.. ~I think I’m running mad~ Calling out a flashlight from his fathomless space his only thought before moving into the cave to check it out was ~if I don’t make it back I hope you’re not dead and also know that you are the cause of my disappearance ~ Walking in, he didn’t hear anything but he wanted to check every hook and cranny of the cave to make sure that they would be alone and not eaten by the beast while asleep. The cave was so dark and deep with openings left and right you wouldn’t know if people or beasts were inside. Walking deeper he had almost gotten to the end of the cave where he could see a little source of light from inside a stream pointing his touch everywhere before it came to a stop at the ceiling. Bright Blue eyes staring at him made him stop dead in his tracks tears streaming down his face, standing on shaky legs Bill was about to collapse from fear. Standing above him was Filofax The Spider with the tail of a Scorpion. Small head but large incisors both poking out if it’s mouth dripping with paralytic poison. Ten strong legs having a tight grip on the walls, spinnerets that extrude thick silk, and a scorpion-like tail, thick and long prodding from its back. Filofax was swinging its tail left and right preparing for an attack. Although he could see everything in front of him, he didn’t know another was behind him waiting to devour him if the spider couldn’t. Wrapped around the rocks above was a long bulky python with a triangular-shaped head and sharp, Backward-curving teeth that it uses to grab its prey with an extremely prehensile tail. Bill had no clue of what was in store for him and without his dagger, he was useless and defenseless. ~I’m going to kill you over and over again for putting me in this situation Cox~ Suddenly Thunder rumbling could be heard and the next thing he knew has he let out a battle cry jumping while avoiding the poisonous tail calling his Dagger one more time. °I summon you My Unheard Agony Come to My Aid! ° Immediately his dagger appeared in his hand, pulling his hand back he had already made his target and he was going for the eyes, the weakest part of its body. Stabbing it directly in the eyes, he used the momentum to pull himself up. He was currently under the spider. Shrieking, the spider began swinging its tail about. Bill had been waiting for it saw the tail heading his way removed the dagger on time before slicing the spider open. Green like slime rained down on him… ~Why did I slice it open! Ahhh! What the hell is this?~ What Bill was currently looking at was the spider's heart, it was light Green in a color that shone brightly. Placing it in his fathomless space, he decided to exit the cave. Although Bill never scanned the beast with his scanner his dagger had known what to do and that helped him greatly. If someone was to tell him that he would be defeating two beasts in a day he would call them a liar. Looking at the dagger he couldn’t help but thank the item it was like the item was made for him, Mentally making promises to the dagger he couldn’t help but remember the promises Cox made to him. ~Maybe we shouldn’t make promises anymore because anything can happen unexpectedly~ he thought another round of tears slipped down his face. The snake had been moving closer the whole time not wanting Bill to sense its presence until the right time. Turning, Bill wanted to move the body away but he couldn’t find it, it was like it had evaporated raising his head after feeling a presence what he saw made him wet his pants. ° Cox! ° Bill Screamed.
