The Omega Evolves

Possession.

Thump… Thump… Thump…

That was the sound emitting from the body laying on the ground after hearing the Scream.

Bill had finally wet his pants but he had no time to feel embarrassed he was in complete shock until his legs moved on their own accord… Turning on his heels, Bill ran out of the cave almost getting lost along the way. The Snake chasing him at a very fast speed.

They were both almost at the mouth of the cave when Bill suddenly paused his eyes turning an unusual grey like he was possessed.

Lifting his dagger, he pointed it outside at that moment sounds of thunder could be heard although the forest.

On the outside of the cave in the sky a cloud of white could be seen it looked like it was gathering something. It kept swirling until it struck the cave creating another opening from above. The lightning Struck the dagger a possessed Bill was currently holding.

Landing on the dagger, he could see the Snake had caught up to him and had opened its mouth really to deplete him. Slashing the lightning-infused dagger vertically he cut the head clean off.

He abruptly felt tired going down on his knees, he bowed his head before lying on the ground and resting for a while.

Meanwhile, that afternoon the incident took place seating on his heels and bending his head was Bob. With guilt eating at him.

°What have I done! Why did I push him so hard! The poor kid is dead because of me and my brother is probably also dead! °

When he saw both boys about to fall he was rushing forward with incredible speed hoping he could save them on time but he couldn’t he had arrived late and could see the boys falling with Cox back facing the ground.

He was about to jump but his friends held him down.

°If you jumped what do you think would happen!? Gain flying powers and fly you three back up!? Well No! That won’t happen, instead, you would die along with them all we have to do is accept our punishment° Gary Informed

°Punishment! But I did nothing wrong, I only chased them°

Red said

° You did more, you chased them to their death, how about that!? °

°Come on guys they would be looking for us by now°

Tapping Bob the three friends walked away from the scene and headed back to the bus.

Their teacher seeing them felt relieved until he did another headcount and checked the list again before all of his relief shattered replaced with worry.

°Where is Cox and Bill!? °

Now their classmates had noticed their absence.

°Holy, did they end up eaten by beasts!? ° A student said

°We’re all going to die if we don’t bring home the Alpha’s son! I’m still too young to be taken from my mother! ° Another replied

°Lets try to find them, and if we don’t see them by nightfall we leave ° Another suggested

° Cox was here with us after our expenditure but he told me he wanted to see if he could find any of the groups since you guys were getting late. But it’s been roughly over two hours since I last saw him° Cox’s group supervisor stated.

°We all have to split up and find him but with what I had seen, he and the human are always together so it would make it faster °

°What if they were eaten by a wild beast!? °A student asked

°If we don’t want that to happen, we have to hurry °

Splitting up again they began their search for both boys but the only thing they came across was the dead Blind Bold lying on the ground split open.

°Wow, did they kill it!?° A student asked

°It seems like it but we can’t be sure° The supervisor replied with a worried look. If these boys had killed it, it could mean they were around this area.

Although his deduction wasn’t the best it was something. Walking further they came across the Boulder walking around it, they didn’t know what they were looking for but it was like a nagging in his head.

Bending down, he saw a necklace that belongs to every member in the pack. The pendant was a Moon with a cloud and the sun rising from the cloud. This pendant belongs to the Alpha family. The other pack members had A moon rising behind the cloud. It was seen at the edge of the cliff behind the Boulder.

He knew something had happened and was praying mentally that the two hadn’t fallen off the cliff. When he got no good news he knew he was officially dead his Alpha would have his head for anything that happened to his son.

Supervisor Felix didn’t know what other investigations should be done. The only one he could think about was asking the last three students that came back to the bus with scars and a little blood on them.

Deciding to head back to the bus he met up with all the other groups and supervisors. Standing in front of them all he said.

° Okay, everyone we found a dead beast (A Blind Bold) specifically it was split in two. I also found Cox’s Necklace behind a boulder. °

Pointing towards the three boys he said

° I have some questions for you three. I saw you walk out of the forest with those marks on your faces and your blood-stained clothes and if I remember correctly, you three have always been his tormentors. So I’ll ask what happened to Cox when you were with him? °

Both boys were avoiding supervisor Felix’s eyes. They already felt guilty and scared enough, they didn’t want any punishment from two or more people.

° We didn’t know what happened. But we saw Bill killing the beast that was all. °

°Fine. Let’s just go home °

Arriving at the pack lands that night they didn’t know what was in store for them. Presently it was only the teachers that were in the bus, they had dropped all the students off to their respective homes. Knocking on the bus was Warrior Clinton who was to deliver the Alpha’s message to them.

°The Alpha has called you all for a meeting in the grand room °

They were all scared of what the Alpha had in store for them. On getting there they could see so many park members outside whispering to themselves but due to their heightened hearing, they heard some words.

° I heard Bob killed the Alpha’s son Cox° A member said

° I heard he chased him to the cliff of liberty and Cox didn’t know about the Boulder so he fell off the cliff. °

° That quiet and nice boy would be missed °

°The Alpha shouldn’t have given them the privilege to mess with his son, now he’s paying the price °

The next thing they heard made everyone stop talking.

A very pissed off Alpha screamed

°Send them to the Dungeon!°
