My perfect life

My mother was always on my case , she was busy telling me about the importance of stability and consistency when you are  a working man ,I didn't care about any of that , I just wanted to see myself getting my salary and taking my dudes to a weekend  getaway and God knows what will happen. I talked to dad about what mom told me and he was in her favor too so to shut their mouths I started looking for a woman I will marry for them , oh! hi my name is Michael , you know the angel of war?, just kidding , I  am from the " city of roses " aka Bloemfontein , I studied  financial accounting at the University of the Freestate and graduated  five years ago ,so just months after that I scored an interview with a regional bank in Pretoria which is where I am based now , according to my parents  I haven't achieved anything tangible and I was ought to be serious about life in general , duh! sounds boring to me ,I mean I built them an eight roomed house last year and I got myself an apartment of my own , on top of that I bought my first car two years ago , come on ! give me a break , I  was home for two days and I was dying to leave , it was a public holiday so it meant no work for two days ,so as I drove back to Pretoria my mind was just digesting this idea of my parents to want me to marry , I had internal conflict in me , a war between my brain and my heart , I got to Pretoria around nine pm , so I didn't want to go to my apartment straight away because all I will do is overthink , so I took my phone and called one of my friends who was into fashion , Trevor ,to meet me at Kruger ,  a pub and grill , so he drove and came, yeah he arrived and we had a couple of drinks and of course I vented with him about my old man and woman , he just busted out with laughter when I told him about what they want me to do , not that he was mocking but he knew how I am and he couldn't imagine me as a married man , I mean I cant even imagine it myself , ok fine , we had a couple more but since it was work day tomorrow we decided to depart and so we did .
