To Young To Go To Prison.

Anna woke up feeling a sharp pain at the back of her head.Her body was so hot and she could feel her head pounding.She tried to survey her surroundings,then she looked up and screamed.
Her hands and clothes were filled with blood and in her right hand,she held a knife smeared with blood too.
" Oh my God!,what happened? what on earth am I doing here?"-Anna thought, her heart beating rapidly.
She looked around and realized that she was in Mrs Beatrice office.She was sure that she left her office after dropping the bags.
"This is unreal,I left this place after helping Me Beatrice.What am i still doing here?"-she thought feeling scared.
She quickly stood up and that was when her eye caught something under the table:a body was lying there.Moving quietly,she turned the body over and gasped.Lying on the floor was Mrs Beatrice,her face was completely dried off and her hair looked scattered.She had a stab injury on her stomach.
Anna screamed in pain as memories flooded in:Her leaving the office,using the restroom,turning the door knob,a man in a hood strangling Mrs Beatrice and a sharp pain at the back of her head.
She knew what was happening.
"I've been set up,I have to leave immediately.The police would be here any minute"

She rushed to the door,opened it and was about leaving when she saw a worker walking in that direction.She quickly rushed in and locked the door.It was then that she remembered that she was covered in blood.Her heartbeat increased rapidly as she searched frantically for something to clean her clothes.She saw the bathroom door open and ran in.She searched the drawers and luckily for her,she found some clothes.She cleaned herself properly and changed into the clothes quickly.
When she was sure she didn't look like a suspect,she hurried out and just few meters to the door,it burst open.
" Put your hands up"- a cop yelled.

At the station,Anna kept pleading innocent and told them everything she knew.
"I'm telling you sir,that's all I know.I didn't kill her"-she pleased with tears running down her cheeks.
She knew the issue at hand.She also knew that the police won't believe her so easily but she still has to try.
"Miss Anna,you were found at the crime scene and a bloody clothes which seems to belong to you was found in the bathroom.Tell me,isn't it evident that you were trying to hide what you did?"-The cop asked her.
"I didn't want to be held responsible,I was only trying to leave the place and I couldn't in a blood stained clothes"-she explained as she choked back tears.
"I found the clothes in the bathroom.they aren't mine"-Anna continued explaining.
"The fingerprints in the knife found at the scene belongs to you Miss.That is a very big evidence that could be used against you.A worker also testified saying she saw you when you ran into the room trying to hide yourself"-The cop told her to her dismay.
"I found the knife in my hand when I woke up.I've been set up"-She screamed.
" So the worker had seen her after all"- she thought."He must have been the one that called the cops"-she thought.
"What if he's involved in this.What if he was the one that killed Mrs Beatrice"- Anna tried to explain to the man.
Anna blamed herself for finding this job.She regretted helping Mrs Beatrice.She cursed using the restroom after leaving the office.If only she had gone back to the studio immediately after leaving the office,she wouldn't have been in this predicament right now.
"The only thing that can save you now is the CCTV footage from the room.If we watch it and find you innocent,you would be free to go,but if we find out that you actually killed her,you already know the consequence.For now, let's wait for the men that were sent to retrieve the footage to arrive".The cop concluded.
Anna felt a ray of hope and she thanked God for fighting for her.The footage would show when she left the office and who killed Mrs Beatrice too,then she would be free to go.She smiled.
Few minutes later,the men who were sent to get the footage arrived.
Anna sat up and waited expectantly.
"Sir we couldn't get the video.The system was having technical issues when the incident occurred so nothing was recorded"- One of the men said.
Anna slumped into her chair.Her hope dashed.She shook her head as tears poured freely.The pain in her heart was intense as reality dawned on her.
"I'm too young to go to prison".
