"I think you must be clearly mistaken Herald, That's my son... Skylar"

Beta Wilfred said, his voice was stern and that shows that he wasn't pleased with what Herald was saying.

Skylar narrowed his brows as he heard what Herald said, just then,Malia entered and followed by Drey.

"Morrison and I are the only beings to be able to decipher Mera's aura..."

Herald defended.

"Herald..."

Drey called, gaining the attention of Herald who seemed not to have noticed him at first.

Herald flushed with relief as he saw Drey.

"Drey... I'm glad you are alright, I came here for you"

Herald said and Drey warmed...

"We still have more important information to discuss, I suggest the kids go out"

Elder Brett suggested.

"No... They stay here... Skylar's Identity must be unraveled..."

Herald interjected.

"Not now Herald..."

Beta Wilfred declined in anger as he stared at Herald without fear.

"Skylar, on your chest, there's a tattoo of a half blue moon..."

Herald said.

Skylar was now more confused, no one knew about the half blue moon crested on his chest except for his dad.

His mum, nah... She was said to die after giving birth to him.

Skylar slowly pulled his shirt up to his chest level and the half blue moon tattoo was revealed.

The hall quietened in surprise, shock and fear as they saw it, their faces went from Skylar to Beta Wilfred.

"Wilfred, What have you done? You claimed he was your son?"

Elder Gurr queried with shock, still unable to get over the revelation.

"What the hell is going on here!?"

Skylar asked as he couldn't get what was happening.

He seemed to be the center of attention to everyone and he didn't like that.

"He's my son! I took care of him since he was a baby all alone... After my wife and her unborn baby died! I didn't know he was Mera's!"

Beta Wilfred explained as he felt his throat hardened.

"D.. Daad"

Skylar stuttered...

Malia held Skylar's palm in hers, trying to calm him down while she wasn't getting a hang of what was happening, Drey saw this and a river of Jealousy drenched him.

"That night of the Blood moon, after we encountered Mera, Alpha Thawne and Kyle had gone back while I stayed behind to ensure we aren't been followed or spied on.

After surveying the entire area and I had made to head back to the pack, I faintly heard a baby cry.

At first I thought it was my imagination and I heard it again... I followed the cry and I saw a baby covered by grasses...

I wondered who could have dropped a baby in the woods and carried the baby because I couldn't leave him out there alone and when I came back home... I found my wife dead... "

He paused.

"She died with my child in her... Her death was known in the pack but Alpha Thawne told the pack that she gave birth before she died that night... Since then, I took care of him and named him Skylar, I didn't know he was Mera's"

Wilfred Emmy explained sadly.

Skylar slowly fell on his knees as he heard all these and tears slowly dropped from his eyes.

The person he had loved most all his life and had recognized as his father was not actually his dad...

He had been lied to..

"Tell me this is not true..."

Skylar asked with pain in his voice while his eyes was drenched with tears.

Beta Wilson sighed with remorse and he walked over to Skylar and bent down while he placed his hand on his shoulder..

"I'm sorry son..."

"Tell me this is not true!!!"

Skylar screamed angrily and he pushed his dad's hand away from his shoulder and stood up.

"Skylar..."

Malia whispered.

"It's true son..."

Beta Wilfred replied as he stood up.

"Don't call me your son!"

Skylar yelled, his veins turning black and his eyes wavering in anger.

"I'm sorry son, I'm really so..."

"I said don't f*****g call me your son!!!"

Skylar roared and his fangs displayed themselves.

Without waiting a second, He sprinted out of the room in anger, leaving everyone in shock.

Malia ran out, Drey was left with no other choice than to leave as he felt the tension in the room.

"I'm Sorry for this, I didn't know it would turn out this way"

Herald apologised.

Surprisingly, The sad Beta sighed and walked back to where he was sitting.

"It's alright, everything is my fault... I should have told him everything... I'm sure he would come around"

Beta Wilfred answered.

Once again, Tension and fear crept into the council.

"Mera was smarter than we all thought... No one knew she would birth that Abomination..."

Elder Brett fumed.

Beta Wilfred growled and his eyes dilated, showing his anger.

"Don't you ever call my son an Abomination!"

He growled out...

One of the elders, elder Gurr stood up and he brought out a scroll from his faded blue garment and opened it.

The scroll had jagged and rough end which showed that it was torn and incomplete.

"On the night of the Blood moon, the creatures of the night shall have the blood of Mera on their hands.

The lost soul of Morrison shall wander back into the pack to avenge Mera.

The Ruthless Hybrid and the Hybrid Abomination shall battle over a woman and one shall lose to the other and... "

Elder Gurr read out aloud and he frowned.

"Something is missing... The demon wolf is no longer in the prophecy"

Herald asked.

Elder Gurr narrowed his eyes as he scanned the scroll again.

"I don't know but I think the Demon wolf part has been erased...!"

Elder Gurr exclaimed.

The hall murmured in anxiety.

"I think this is the work of the moon goddess... Something is definitely weird with it..."

Kyle said.

Herald held his sword tightly as he was deep in his own thought.

Something was definitely happening, the prophecy of the Demon wolf had been erased.

Something is definitely wrong somewhere... What if it wasn't the Moon goddess?

What if it was someone capable of Dark Magic to manipulate prophecy?

Then it clicked...

Skylar ran through the woods in anger and sadness washed over him, he was moving faster than a normal human would.

"Sky wait up! Please..."

Malia called from behind but he just kept running to no destination.

Malia ran faster than usual but she still couldn't catch up with him.

"Skylar!!!"

Malia screamed, and Skylar slowed down his pace.

Malia hardly calls him his full name except she was in danger or she was angry at him.

He stopped on his tracks and Malia was able to catch up with him.

"Go back to the pack Malia.."

Skylar ordered and Malia scoffed while she folded her arms together.

"You know I can't go back, I can't go back without you..."

She replied.

She and Skylar had been friends since childhood and she can't leave her best friend in a time of trouble...

"You still don't get it? I am not from this pack! I am the son of Mera who is a danger to this pack!"

Skylar snapped.

"You are a coward! You want to throw away all you families and friends just because of a f*****g secret you heard?"

"You still don't get it Malia... When I fight, I feel like I'm being controlled by my evil side... I feel bloodlusted!"

Skylar snarled.

"You were always you Skylar"

Malia replied while she moved closer to Skylar.

"When I fought those ninja hunters... I felt myself fighting like some demon... I wasn't in total control of my body in wolf form and I could feel some kind of evil growing in me Malia... That explains why I must leave this pack, I might do something crazy!"

Skylar said while his eyes welled up.

Malia stuttered, she was totally speechless as she knew that what Skylar had said was true.

When she had seen Skylar's big brown wolf fight and rip the ninjas in a brutal way, she had felt evil radiating from him that she had been scared for some minutes... And then his eyes, she couldn't stop thinking about his eyes...

"You are stronger than this Skylar... Please don't go.."

Malia begged.

"I'm sorry Malia, I need to leave..."

"If you leave, no one would be there to guard me, those ninjas might come back again!..."

Skylar smiled weakly and pulled her into a hug, his tears dropping on her tender shoulder while Malia couldn't help but sob silently.

"I will aways be there Malia... I promise, I will come back..."

Skylar muttered.

He traced his hand towards her neck and his claw slowly came out and in one swift movement, he plunged it into her neck and she blacked out.

Skylar slowly dropped her on the floor and kissed her on her head.

"I will be back..."

He said and disappeared into the woods...
