Third Person POV Kiera was slowly coming to her senses. A pungent smell caught her nose, made it wrinkle in disgust as she struggled to open her eyes. She was tired, in pain and thirty. Her mouth felt drier than the Sahara desert. It took her a long time to regain her consciousness, to be fully aware of her surroundings. And when she did, her system kicked to life. Kiera sat up quickly and found herself on the floor of a small, dirty room. She frantically looked around and realised it wasn’t a room. It was a cell. There were iron bars in front of her eyes as she sat up. Her movements were restricted even inside the cell, though. There was a heavy silver collar with a lock and key around her neck to prevent her from shifting. Her hands were cuffed behind the back and against the wall.
