"No Chloe .....sit!, I've had enough of your nuisance!" Sarah commanded with fire blaring from her eyes. John touched her arm lightly "Darling, it's fine" he said trying to calm her down "Chloe you can leave, Jayden why don't you drop her off? it's on the way right?" he ordered politely. Jayden turned around with a slight frown "Uhm actually dad, it's quite the detour" Chloe wrinkled her nose in distaste too "I'd rather take taxi" she said to John. "Enough! .....both of you, you better find a way to get along because you're family now".

Facing his son "And Jayden, get her home first" he ordered and continued eating. "That's right, stop behaving like cat and dog. Chloe follow Jayden okay? He's a careful driver" Sarah added while staring at her daughter and stepson. Chloe sighed while Jayden simply walked out "s**t" Chloe cursed as Jayden sped off without waiting for her to buckle in properly. "Jayden are you crazy". He calmly looked at her as almost drove into an incoming car "what's the problem?.....feeling uncomfortable?" He asked without any shake to his voice. "Stop being an i***t, I don't wanna die because of a lunatic who can't even drive properly" she seethed while looking out.

She was a fool to have believed he could be trusted "You think you can do better?" He asked with a small smile. "Wanna bet? I'm surely not a fool like you" Chloe replied full of confidence. "Well.i don't f*****g care since you're in my city, my house and my car so shut up!!" he barked at her, his blue eyes now seething with fire. "You think wealth make you gods......I still own my space, my comfort zone and my sight, so f**k off you arrogant ass!!!" she barked at him and continued to watch the front. "Your mum must really love you to put up with your crazy self" he stated as his jaw ticked.

Chloe scoffed "what would you know about a mother's love" Jayden stiffened visibly before pulling to a stop almost making the car towing behind to bump into him. "What the f**k his wrong with you!" Chloe screamed again. His jaw hardened so much and his eyes burned with anger "Get out" he stayed calmly. Chloe whipped her head to look at him, while chuckling "you must be joking right". "I ....said ....get out! Or I'll get you out myself" He screamed with gritted teeth while glaring at her. "You wouldn't dare" she said warily. But then he got out and went round to the passengers seat "Jayden ? Jayden ? You surely don't mean it right?"

To her greatest surprise he forced her out of the car "Jayden you can't drop me here!" She complained in horror with her honey brown eyes wide open. "Call that taxi" he said as he rounded back to start the car. "No taxi will pick me up here so late" she complained again still not believing what was about to happen. "Uber then" he said carelessly as moved to enter his car, Chloe looked on in disbelieve and then banged her fist against the window "Jayden stop, this joke is getting....." She didn't get to complete her sentence when he drove off.

"Jayden! Jayden at least give me something to protect myself!" She screamed even though she knew it was futile. She tried to put on her phone and tapped continuously "This can't be happening to me.......Shit, now I'm out of battery, just go to hell you motherf*cling asshole!" She vented out into the air as Jayden was now long gone, accepting her fate she tried to flag down cars but they a drove past her. A beetle car with extravagance passed and she flagged down desperately but it also drove past "f**k you.....yeah drive on! I'm very sure you are a serial killer, good riddance!"

She screamed frustratingly until she saw the car stop and reverse "s**t!" Now she was certainly getting scared "what if he really is a serial killer or a newbie killer" she thought to herself but decided to calmly take it head on, she took a deep breath as the car stopped in her front a young and handsome guy was the one driving and certainly adorned himself as much as he did to his car "hey are you okay?" He asked looking sincere, which was a start for Chloe "Yeah, well some jerk left me stranded here"

The guy looked around "really? All alone.....In the middle of nowhere?" He asked and that made her uncomfortable and at alert she nodded awkwardly "Yeah...all alone, I'm the middle of nowhere...... that'll be all thanks" she said as she started walking. "Hey wait, I know that came out bad but I really can't leav e you all alone in the middle of nowhere" he rephrased patiently while moving the car slowly beside her "well that was better.....do you by chance have a iPhone charger?" She asked before getting in.

She plugged in her phone and sighed "What a day, I couldn't even get my charger out of my suitcase " the guy looked at her "So....where should I take you?" He asked. Staring at her phone "where are you headed?" She asked. "To some random party in a villa out there. I'd have loved to invite you if that doesn't sound bad but you'll just think I'm going to dismember you" he said jokingly and Chloe chuckled "So where do you live" he asked again.

She stopped pressing her phone "Do you know the Bartels' house?" He looked at her "Everyone knows the Bartels' house, you live near there?" He asked. Chloe licked her lips "I live there" he threw her a quick glance "What? You live in Jayden's house?" He asked in surprise barely keeping his eyes on the road "Worse .....he's my stepbrother and the jerk who left me stranded"she replied. The guy whistled and chuckled "what an asshole, but I can understand why he couldn't wait to drop you off at home. He wants to get there early" he said. Chloe frowned in confusion "To the Zion's?". He looked at the front "To the party I told you about just now" It was Chloe's turn to be surprised "wait what!?"
