My legs were still numb and I no longer felt my feet, that's how cold they were. But I just kept running, stepping on the very thin layer, if it could be even considered as one, of snow that had formed during my sleep. Suddenly, bushes, trees and rocks were gone. I was in a partially white field. On the horizon was a giant house, big enough to fit more than fifty people. There was some houses around the larger one, as if the house was a castle and the rest was the village. Thin snow fell on my red cloak, and over my blond hair, causing the snowflakes to get lost in the thin strands. Although I wanted to throw myself in the ground and never get up, even though my feet were frozen and I didn't have enough air in my lungs, I had to continue. Suddenly, before I could do something, seven men surrounded me, preventing me from leaving my place. The walk back into the woods was behind me, but it was also locked by them. In front of me, the tall man with a superior air stared at my eyes. I knew some alphas, but that one seemed even more superior. His reddened eyes stared at me with hatred, and the expression seeing red never made so much sense. The way he stared at me made my body crawl. "I said it to kill her!" He said seriously, in a loud tone, but this time he didn't move. He just stood there, waiting for the pack members to respect his order as an Alpha. At first I felt a strong pressure in my chest, the one that comes before crying, so tight it even hurts. But then the fear of dying went away and anger washed over me. I no longer felt in control of my actions. It was like I was watching everything on a big movie screen. Hate was all I was feeling. Everything was going slow in my head. Everything I've been through with him every year, everything I've had to do to get away. I was not going to die now. Not now that I had finally managed to escape the hands of that bastard. I started to feel pain. Pain ran through every inch of my body. Not pain like before. Not pain from tiredness. Pain of my bones breaking and rebuilding. Pain of my body undergoing a change that he was not used to yet. Pain in my organs readjusting. Pain in my brain like it was going to explode. My vision was pure red. The figures were not so clear but I could smell each person around me. The men's eyes widened. I set my paws on the floor. I had become a wolf. Lucifer’s POV: The frightened girl from before didn't look scared anymore. In her place a beautiful and giant wolf appeared. She had white, not gray or yellowish hair as normal, but snow-white fur. Her large, bright blue eyes stood out even more in the white of her fur. I had never seen a white wolf. No one has ever seen a white wolf. Most wolves had brown or grayish fur, and the most white ever seen was yellowish fur. I was considered rare for a reason. I was respected for a reason. I was not an ordinary wolf. And neither that girl. Her wolf was not of a normal size. She was much larger, almost the size of the pack's male wolves, and being a female wolf she should've been smaller. Her eyes wouldn't leave me. Her breathing was racing and her heart was a million per hour. Seeing the threat all my men turned into their wolves. Large wolves of gray and brown fur, most with dark or green eyes. The wolves began to growl at her, warning her of the danger. But that didn't change anything about her. In fact, she growled back, but louder and firmer, with a power in her tone that I couldn't distinguish. Her paws were firmly on the snow, her eyes pierced to mine, her teeth showing shamelessly. The snowflakes fell from the sky and were lost in her white fur. Her eyes glittered from feet away. And the power she transmitted made me want to submit to her... give myself to her. Who are you? Luna's POV: I growled as hard as I could at the now transformed wolves. They were a little bigger than me, but still, they seemed so harmless around me. The force that came to my body could cause me to tear the heads of everyone there apart. The wolves tried to get closer, but my growl made everyone pull back a little. The Alpha frowned and crossed his arms. Not letting his frightening golden aurea fall to earth. The wolves were going to attack again but he put his hand up, which made everyone stop their actions and not move an inch. I assume he said something through the mental link to them, as out of nowhere all wolves began to walk slowly and hesitantly toward the giant house on the horizon. The Alpha stood there, pearly, standing still but ready for any sudden movement of mine. My paws were still firm on the floor, but my heart was slowing down. “Let's talk at the pack house. It's cold and you look tired." He said it, unfolding his arms. "Because... if you stay here, whatever you're running away from will find you," He said again. I knew I shouldn't trust these men. People are not reliable. But he was right. The only reason I could escape was that I had unintentinally entered the territory of another pack. The moment I left the territory, they would catch me. I did not doubt that he was at the border of the territory just waiting. I forced my heart to slow down, still staring at the man. I didn't know who he was or if he could be trusted, but I felt... different around him. Maybe he could help. Or maybe I was just trusting the wrong people again. I transformed into my human form again, quickly grabbing my cloak off the floor and placing it over my naked body. His eyes, however, did not leave me. I got up slowly, not speaking a word. He stared at me for a few seconds until he turned and started walking toward the big house. I walked after him, slower, trying to ignore my frozen feet. I just hoped he wouldn't kill me after all this. Lucifer's POV: There was something about that girl. Something that made me want to be near her. A mystery prowled her body and it was as if I was called to her. Three days. It had been three days since I had met her. When we arrived at the pack house I immediately sent everyone out of the house these days she was here. After all, I didn't know if she was dangerous. I gave her a guest room and since then, she's been sleeping straight. I wonder how long she must have been running away. Although she didn't confirm my theory, the fact that she agreed to come with me made me think I was right. "I still think you are stupid for bringing a fugitive omega into your house." Charlie said crossing his arms, making my eyes fall on him. "And if she's really running away from whatever she's running away from... they'll come looking for her." “We don't know why they are looking for her, or who. But she's rare and that's obvious. I want to know why they're after her." I responded by settling into the leather chair I was sitting on. We didn't know who the girl was or where she had come from. She was very exhausted when she arrived so I decided not to ask any questions at that time. To tell you the truth, these past few days I wondered if I'd made the right choice to put a strange wolf inside the pack house, but I needed to know about her. It was as if I couldn't contain my curiosity. She was still dirty so I still couldn't smell her or see her face better. But I had seen her wolf. And she was extraordinary. She caught my eye and piqued my curiosity. I needed to know who she was. Because... if someone had the courage to almost enter my territory for a simple girl, these people are no joke. And if they want her this much... so do I.
