Mated with the wrong wolf

Chapter ten.

~Cam's P.O.V.~

I get home at three on the dot. My aunt was waiting by the front door.

"Well done Cam, I'm happy I don't have to punish you. And I see you kept your room nice and clean. For all the good things you do you shall be rewarded and for all the bad... Well you will be punished. Keep the good work up and there won't be any problems. Dis-please me and you will face the consequences." She said grinning.

She is a very strict woman. How she was related to my mother I don't know. My mother was reasonable, this woman was intimidating and scary. I nod my head at her, insinuating that I understand. "WORDS, CAMARI, USE YOUR WORDS" She screached at me.

" Yes, mother, I completely understand." I responded.

"Good, now go make a start on dinner, you'll see a list on the fridge of the meals I want you to prepare for the rest of the week, Breakfast, lunch, Tea and Supper" she said fairly nicely.

" Okay, mother. That's very helpful for me, thank you" I replied honestly.

I headed to the kitchen and there was the list, scribbled neatly on the fridge. Perfect, I thought. Now I don't have to guess, I can just make.

The rest of the week flew by, before I knew it it was friday. I had grown very close to Amber, she's one of the nicest people I've ever met. She explained that this village was a werewolf village. The school was a werewolf school and we never get humans here. We can be free.

[Amber: " Are you coming to Jason's party with me, Cam? " she asked sweetly.

[Camari: " I don't know Ambs, I'll have to ask my mother but she's very strict, it's probably going to be a no from me."

[ Amber: " Well suck up to her, make her say yes, give her no reason to say no!"

Amber was right, I had been good all week, I haven't received a single complaint, my mother was proud and I was in her good graces. Maybe this was what she meant by rewards, something I wanted to do.

[Camari: " Actually Ambs since you've put it that way, I might be able to go, I have been good all week, I deserve this. Surely she would let me. " Amber screams a little over-excitedly

" I can't wait Cam, eekkk" I laugh at her, she's such a girly girl.

Amber drives me home, gobsmacked at the size of my mothers house, she slaps my arm.

" What was that for?" I yell at her, politely.

"You didn't tell me you lived here!! I can't believe it, this mansion is beautiful, Wow!!" She said in Awe.

"Sorry Ambs, it's still fresh to me" I unbuckle my belt and run into my home, waving at Amber in the process.

"Who Is that?" My mother said frowning. "Oh, that's Amber, a friend from school" I replied nervously.

"She seems nice" mother replied.

"Erm, mother?" I ask worriedly

"Can I go to a party tomorrow night?"

I thought she was going to scold me I step back.

" I don't see why not, Yes. Yes you can. As a reward for behaving all week, you can go, but you be back at Eleven sharp, no later and no earlier I have a friend visiting" she replied. I thank her profuselly, I think it might be a bit too risky for hugs.

"Camari, dear" she says just before I leave.

" Yes mother?" I turn and reply.

"The weekends are all yours, I see no reason for you to work unless you're being punished so feel free to do as you like". " Oh, Thank you mother!!!" I said over joyed. I am very grateful for her kindness. I rush to my room after preparing dinner and I text Amber the great news. "We are soooo going shopping for our outfits tomorrow, text me when you wake up" she wrote.

My left arm was achy, I'd been taking all my tablets accordingly and the pain wasn't really bad, but today it ached a bit. I take the bandage off and look at my arm. I notice that it's all healed but I'm still missing a chunk of flesh from my arm and there was this huge ugly scar going right round my shoulder, it looked hideous. The chunk missing wasnt as bad as it once was but it was obvious there was a chunk missing, it was disgusting. I run myself a bath and prepare fresh bandages. I get changed in to comfortable dark grey joggers and a white vest top. I carry on with my chores and go to bed. Dreaming about the party tomorrow.
