Chapter 7 – Social Media
PATRICIA’S POV
After I finished my shower and my homework, I decided to relax by checking on my social media accounts and my emails. Low and behold, I had friend requests from Damon, Alpha Vin, Alpha Derrick and Alpha Zayden. I accepted all their requests, of course, but was surprised to get one from Alpha Zayden. I did not think he even knew who I was.
It only took about 5 minutes before I began receiving instant messages from Alpha Derrick. He was cooing to me about our brief make out session and how much he enjoyed our kiss. He said he already misses me and can not wait to see me again tomorrow. He also admitted that he was hoping for another kiss. I, also, admitted to enjoying our kiss and was hoping to oblige him but knew Alpha Vin would be on me like Donkey Kong or whatever. So, I cautioned Alpha Derrick who retorted that he was not afraid of Alpha Vin and had zero intention to leave me alone. I could already feel tomorrow’s boy drama starting and it was not even tomorrow yet.
After another 15 minutes or so went by I began to get instant messages from Damon and Alpha Vin. Damon’s was to apologize for not keeping a better eye on me and wanted to make sure I was ok and Alpha Derrick did not hurt me or anything. I told him I was fine and thanked him for checking on me. I did not tell him about the kiss with Alpha Vin.
Alpha Vin wanted to make sure I was not upset with him for his line of questioning and the kiss. I told him honestly that his questions were awkward but admitted to enjoying his rough kiss. He could not help himself after I said that and asked me if his kiss was better than Alpha Derrick’s. “OMG shaking my head. Alphas and their ego’s,” Morgan said.
So, I told his cocky behind that both kisses were different but equally good. His kiss was rough and passionate, while Alpha Derrick’s kiss was soft and sweet. He asked me if he could try again to make his better. I told him it is not a competition, and I preferred my kisses spontaneous. Then he added that he is right next door if I change my mind. “We won’t be changing our minds,” my wolf, Morgan, sighed. I nodded in the affirmative.
I was getting ready to log off my social media sites when I saw a message pop up from Alpha Zayden. That piqued my interest, so I stayed logged on. He said hello and then wondered if I knew who he was. I told him I did not at first but then asked my bodyguard, Damon, who told me. I told him that I saw him at the bus stop earlier at school. He told me he had seen me too, but he was not sure who I was. He told me he was a Sophomore, but I already knew that. Then he asked me if I would like to talk to him during school. He would try to find me if I did. I told him I would, but I always had a bodyguard and Alpha Vin following me everywhere so it would be hard. He said he was not worried about them. Then he asked for my cell phone number. He said we had more in common than I knew. I decided to give it to him. Our packs had an alliance, so I did not see the harm and I was curious what he meant by that.
DAMON’S POV
I sent Patricia a friend request and apologized to her for not paying enough attention to her today. I could have texted her or just knocked on her door; but this way I could keep an eye on her social media accounts without her knowing. Alpha Vin and I discussed at dinner about the other ways boys might try to reach out to her and social media was in the top two that we discussed. I wanted to have as many bases covered as I could.
ALPHA VIN’S POV
Damon and I were discussing at dinner all the different ways that the other Alpha’s might try to contact Patricia. We both knew it would be more difficult to just walk up to her with the both of us there beside her so it only made sense that they would find a work around. We discussed her cell phone and social media.
After dinner we decided to both send her a friend request to all her accounts. I was happy to see that she accepted both of our requests. I also used the opportunity to discus our kiss. I must have logged off to soon because Damon mind linked me that Alpha Derrick and Alpha Zayden were now friends on her accounts. “We will have to keep an eye on them,” I told him. My wolf, Maximus growled lowly out of possessiveness and what seemed to be jealousy.
ALPHA DERRICK’S POV
When Patricia accepted my friends request, I was excited. Now I had a way that I could speak to her without Alpha Vin or that warrior boy named Damon trying to run interference. I mean I understand them wanting to safeguard her due to her gifts but interfering with her friendships and love life were wrong in my opinion. I had no intentions to harm her or try to kidnap her. I only wanted to get to know her because she is beautiful and a cool and down to earth girl. I am extremely interested in her. I would love to see her healing powers for myself. I hoped she would feel comfortable with me enough to show me. I could not get our kiss out of my head. I had every intention on kissing her a much as she would allow me to.
ALPHA ZAYDEN’S POV
I was glad that Patricia accepted my friend’s request. I was not sure if she knew who I was and I felt a little bit nervous to send her one. Girls do not usually make me nervous, but I know how special she is, and it is important to me to gain her friendship and her trust. I would eventually like to share my secret gift with her because I would love to see if our gifts could somehow work with each other or compliment each other in some way. Our packs are allies so I am not trying to step on toes or ruffle any feathers, so to speak, I just want to get to know her. At least now that I have her phone number and social media, I can talk to her without needing to go through Alpha Vin. I really do not know what his problem is.
