"Go where?. I have a family that needs me and I'm not about to go on an impossible mission to fight monsters". Arthur said Carolyn and nodded.
"Yeah even though my father doesn't want me around he will needs me". Carolyn added.
Christine sighed. "Even if I want to go what would I tell my parents. what will I tell your son". She faced her grandmother.
Nora sighed. Arguing was pointless they would have to see the need to go themselves. So they had to wait for the right time.
Robert watched pitifully. His home was going to get destroyed.
Grandma Nora stood up. She stood in front of them. ."Robert would be going back home today so he won't be coming to your school anymore but he will leave a clue on how to find him of you ever need to. Robert".
Grandma Nora looked at Robert and Robert nodded bringing out a Stone from his pocket. The stone was smooth both Carolyn, Christine and Arthur already guessed it was magic. I mean nothing here with Robert was real.
He threw the Stone on the floor and it sparked then showed a blurry image and in the image words formed out.
*** beware, the death is here**.
A voice that sounded like Giants talking at the same time.
The words were the first they could make out. Arthur, Carolyn and Christine shuddered. Robert looked not flinching and asked a question.
"How do they find me, great one."
They looked at Robert. Who was he asking.
The smoke turned into words again. The voice spoke.
***Highest of the rocks***
***Trios stand, hand in hand**
***At sundown, the mist arrives**
***Say the words, here comes ARCDRIODA***
The voice stopped and then the mist shaped into a girl's face.
***Water and ice, together they stand***
***Alone they stand, heart as cold as ice***
***Beware***
The mist cleared of.
"Ok that's the most creepy thing I have ever seen. And I'm saying this from experience". Carolyn said.
"What the hell was that". Christine asked and Arthur still gazed at the mist that was now going out the door.
"So that was something, anyone care to explain what that meant". Carolyn asked.
Robert sighed. "Please help me pick the stone and no matter what don't make it fall". Christine nodded and picked it up. she gave it to Robert and sat back on her seat.
"I only know the first part. But the second I don't". Robert replied. "That's how to get to me."
Arthur scoffed now back in his senses. "How do you expect us to get there with highest of the rocks". Arthur mimicked the mist voice." Why can't we go there the way you would".
"Because you don't have magic, I do. Well I'm still in training but I can conjure up the next ride to my home but you can't".
Christine was deep thought. The last words of the mist got to her. Water and ice.
"You don't have to worry we won't need to find you. So we don't need to know what it means yet". Carolyn said and Arthur nodded.
"Yeah I also don't want to know. But I have a question though. Who was talking. I mean the mist was like, Beware".
Robert smiled. "That was Dynostus. Daughter of the Arcdrioda Oracle".
"Wait so you mean we just heard something from an oracle*. Carolyn asked bewildered.
Robert sighed. "I said the daughter. Dynostus is like a messenger but because she's the dàughter of the oracle. She gets to see things to". Carolyn nodded an okay. She looked at Christine.
"You know, you've been quiet for a long time now, not being sarcastic like always. So what's the probs". Christine sighed and looked up at them. "Nothing, I'm just not in the mood to talk".
Grandma Nora could see through her lie. She was also worried for Christine. She understood what the oracle meant but it wasn't her prophecy to understand. Maybe later she would have a one on one conversation with Christine.
Robert looked at Christine after answering their silly questions. He remembered what Dynostus said.
***Water and ice, together they stand***
***Alone they stand, heart as cold as ice**
***Beware**
he knew it had something to do with Christine. But the last few words was what made him scared. *** Heart as cold as ice**
That part sounded bad. He could fix the puzzle but it wasn't his to fix. He looked away.
"I should be going now. It would be very early in the morning in Arcdrioda".
"Yeah" Carolyn said. "But we still don't know how to get to you".
"You will know when the time comes". With that said Robert tried standing up but he groaned in pain. And sat down back. Carolyn and Arthur held him up again and he walked out of the house.
"Leave me here I'll do the rest." They left him and he stood himself. Christine came out with Grandma Nora sighing. "Good luck Robert.
Good bye Christine". Robert said. Then he started chanting some words.
***Home, celentia home.***
***I seek Arcdrioda, home***
Robert dissolved until he turned into a ray of light then disappeared into the air.
"Okay so I have seen a lot of weird things today to call that weird. Rpbert just disappeared into a ray of light and then the light disappeared. Who thought that freaky".
Carolyn giggled amidst the stress she was getting.
" I think we should probably get back to school for out punishments. Or do you think no one would notice we got missing. And by the way Carolyn get ready to explain what happened in the sports court". Arthur said.
Carolyn snickered. "You guys no idea what happened right?".
Christine scoffed. "Tell that to our body parts". She rubbed her waist.
"Well anyway you guys don't have to worry about punishments I got that all sorted out."
"What, you gonna get your daddy to help you". Christine said sarcastically.
"Yes Christine". Carolyn stared at her. "Yes, I'm going to get my daddy to help me get is out."
