There was no way to hide this, so Megan had to admit, "Yes, it was me at Mr. Carter's mansion that day, but I didn't mean to. I knew you were coming and I knew you didn't want to see me, so I tried to dress up so you wouldn't recognize me."
"But you scared Ruthie. You scared her into nightmares for several nights."
"I didn't mean to. I don't know why Sherlyn got scared like that." Megan explained in a panic.

Everyone's aura is different, so maybe Megan's aura is what scared Sherlyn so much.
"Take the stuff back, and don't hang around my door anymore. If Ruthie sees you again, I'm afraid she'll be scared again."
