Renault was pleasantly awoken by Constance the next morning. Like her, he also had considered intimacy the previous night, but was too exhausted. He couldn’t say he wasn’t happy with the way she was waking him up. After their morning bout they went topside, it was becoming a tradition to head to the quarterdeck every morning and getting a lung full of fresh salty sea air to start their day.
