Chapter 26 • Famagusta Before dawn, Dimitri and Maria were each holding a large lampada and walking down the road towards the bus station for Famagusta. They got seats without difficulty on the first bus, which left half-empty, but on time. A little after seven, they saw the sun come up over the eastern reaches of the valley.
