The CDF starship Devlin dropped out of hyperspace near the planet and took up station ready to deploy the troops.
On the bridge Captain Agatha Maynard sat in her command chair, staring at the main viewer at the planet below them. Her hazel eyes narrowed as she took in every detail displayed at the side of the screen as sensors swept the coordinates they had been given for the location of the ICE base.
“According to sensors, sir, the base must be deep underground on at least three levels,” said Commander Abraham Rahim, her First Officer.
“Okay, let’s hail them and let them know of our presence here,” she said.
“Channel open, sir,” said ops.
