The bridge of the Phobos was on the top deck near the middle of the gigantic vessel. Surrounded by triple hull plating, it was also protected by primary and secondary shields, all of which was due to the extensive refit the starship had undergone.
This ship was the mobile headquarters for ICE and could be relocated at a moment’s notice. Their present position though, near the nebula, gave them all the protection against detection they needed for the moment, at least.
“Get me Trask on an encrypted channel,” Jericho said after he had arrived on the bridge to ensure things were running as expected. “I’ll take the call in my quarters,” he added once he was confident everything was secure and going as planned.
Jericho had a cabin near the bridge so he could get there should the need arise. N
