The redistribution of nuclear waste had gone as usual, without a hitch. This wasn’t the first time a customer wanted a shipment of waste siphoned off for their personal use. There was a market out there that dealt with the recycling of waste material for nuclear generators. Since the use of nuclear power had been abolished, fusion reactors had taken over. In some cases, the waste was used in an abandoned technology that attempted to marry the two together by stripping the heavier isotopes from the waste material and using it as fuel for the fusion reactors. This had proven to be too dangerous due to the inherent dangers of using the waste. Although it had been officially abandoned, there were still some who used the technology as a way of cutting costs.
