As soon as Holden finished his call with Rodriguez he went straight to C’s office.
“Sir, I think I may have something,” he blurted out breathlessly. He was a young officer, keen to impress, but not at the detriment of his work. His blue eyes sparkled with energy as he danced from one foot to the other in his haste to impart his findings.
“Okay Holden, calm down; take a breath and tell me,” C said, stifling a smile. He remembered being that enthusiastic when he was starting out. Now was not the time for reminiscence though.
