Mackenzie walked away, not caring that he was calling her name. She pushed her way into the bathroom. It was empty, giving her a minute to compose herself. She dried her tears and sucked in a few deep breaths, fighting her emotions.
It was going to be a long few days if she was going to let them get to her. She had to push it all down. She could feel her feelings when she was away from everyone. But for now, she had to pull herself together.
Mackenzie walked out of the bathroom and saw Isabel leaving the break room. Isabel stopped in the hallway, talking to Eric and blocking the way back to the call center. Mackenzie couldn’t just stand there and hope they didn’t notice her. She had to leave.
