Chapter 3

Quickly, Fenella hid something. She looked at him and said, "I'm afraid I'll see something I shouldn't and make trouble for no reason." Then she ran away. He made a face and went into the bedroom. His sharp eyes quickly looked over everything. He finally took the camera out of the flower pot. This guy's face was really gray. There was no doubt that Skye told Fenella to do that because she clearly didn't trust him anymore. Tristan felt incredibly let down because he thought Skye, who had once trusted him completely, had learned these tricks to keep an eye on him. Skye was told by Fenella to install the spying software from afar. "I'm on the stairs of your house," she told Skye. There are cameras in the master bedroom, but Tristan might think I messed with them. He's likely to clean up the master bedroom. He has no idea that there are cameras in the stairs. You should be able to hear some of his secrets once you've set up the spying software. After Skye put the software on her phone, she sometimes just stared at the screen. Tristan may have become more careful. He also didn't invite Natalie to his house again and sometimes left Skye flowers because she liked them. He would sometimes whisper to himself, "Skye, you'll be so happy when you see these gardenias when you get back." Skye, on the other hand, had his eyes on his tie clip the whole time. Tristan chose the wrong thing to do. She always helped him put on his tie clips. She bought him all of his tie clips. But the tie clip he wore today was different. It was clear that someone else had bought it for him. Skye sent Fenella a picture of the tie. Because Fenella knew a lot about fashion, she was sure that she would soon be able to figure out who had bought the tie clip. Mason, Skye's doctor, noticed that she has been using her phone a lot lately. Mason told her in a very serious way to give him her phone. "Skye, give me the phone." Skye didn't want to give up the phone at all. She looked for help at Mason with her eyes. Mason said, "You use your eyes too much and look at your phone too much during the day." It's hard to sleep when you look at your phone late at night. "Remember that you are a very sick patient." Skye gave Mason her phone and turned it off because she was afraid Mason would find out her secret. "What is hidden in the phone?" Mason smiled and laughed as he looked at the black screen. Skye didn't say anything. It was beautiful to be quiet. He asked her, "You haven't showered in a long time." He put her phone in his pocket. "To be honest, you smell a little bad." Skye thought it would be best to hide in a hole because she felt embarrassed. He said, "If it's okay with you, I can help you take a bath." Skye's face turned as red as a monkey's behind right away. She shook her head hard, as if her head, which was in the right place, was about to fall off. Mason said in a weak voice, "Then let Tristan help you." Skye quickly replied, "No." Mason seemed to be confused. "He's married to you. "Why don't you two tell the truth to each other?" "I need a nurse!" "I'm sorry, but today is Women's Day, and all the female caregivers are off." Are guy caregivers all right?" Skye almost choked. Say "no way." "Then please pick one of me or Tristan." Skye went from blue to green and looked at Mason. Say, "Can it be tomorrow?" She hoped the nurse could help her clean up after work. He told Skye, "I'm a clean freak." It's hard for me to put up with the shame for so long. Skye thought about how many times in the last few days he had checked her wounds. He had seen and felt every part of her body, though. In that case, she would let him sponge bathe her. He was the one who didn't like her. In the end, how could she allow Tristan to be close to her? "Then...thank you, Dr. Mason," Skye said out of the blue. Mason gave a big smile. The answer is "with pleasure." Skye was ready in her mind, but she freaked out when Mason came over with water. Mason's movements were very soft, as if he were taking care of fragile porcelain. It looked like the wound in Skye's heart had been fixed. She didn't feel bad about it, though. In her heart, she knew that Mason was still very well-educated. He did things very kindly, even though he sometimes said stupid things. It's easy to see why a lot of girls liked him. "Skye," Mason called out to her out of the blue. She might have heard him wrong, but she thought his voice was sad and hoarse. She looked at him. Mason quickly calmed down and went back to looking like he was acting out of control. "Listen, I haven't had a good night's sleep in over ten days because I have to take care of you." Will you be nice to yourself next time? Take care of yourself? Take a look at us poor doctors and nurses. Do you have to add to my load?" Skye looked at Mason's worn-out face and gave him a quiet nod. It was a firm, "Don't worry, I won't fall into the same trap again." Mason gave a happy nod. "There is still hope for you." Mason was going to say something but didn't after wiping her body. When he got to the door, he told Skye, "Skye, I'm not working tomorrow." Is that all right?" Skye just stood there and stared at him... Should he have told her if he was going to be absent? Mason felt like he wasn't needed all of a sudden. "You're my patient," he said. People who go to the doctor are like gods. You can tell me not to take leave or to take a short break. Skye was the one who suggested giving Mason a certificate of kindness. "Mason, I'll give you a silk banner when I get out of the army." Skye really thought that. Mason's good-looking face went cold. With a scowl, he turned to leave. Skye woke up in pain the next day. She saw the nurse washing her wound when she opened her eyes. She had trouble moving, and it hurt so much that tears came to her eyes. She clenched her teeth. During this time, she missed Mason's care for his patients. "Where is Dr. Mason?" she asked without meaning to. "To save you, Dr. Mason hasn't left the hospital in ten days," the female nurse told her. Many surgeries were done on you all over your body, and they were all done by Dr. Mason. He was so tired that he almost fell asleep on the surgery table. Because of this, your life was swapped with his. The director told him to go home and rest yesterday. Skye was shocked. She was amazed at how much Mason cared about his patients. She didn't think Mason would be so responsible and serious at work. "A week is already Dr. Mason's shortest vacation," the female nurse said. He used to only be in charge of operating on people. When it was your turn, he did all of your trips. Dr. Mason said that he treated you like you were his new research subject. You were a very sick patient, and he wanted to get you better as soon as possible. Dr. Mason seems to have done a good job. Going forward, he shouldn't have to keep looking at you. The loud nurse left, and Skye felt strangely empty. The nurse told Mason that she would not keep looking at her medical information from now on. Then she would have to deal with being seen and touched again, which would be awkward. Skye's life became very quiet while Mason was away. This reminded her of the time when the robbers had her as a hostage. Her mind went back to all the times she had asked Tristan for help and gotten no answer. She thought about how Tristan had gotten scared when it was Natalie and ran quickly to the ruins. Nicole had begged to be held by him to feel better. She thought about how Tristan had picked to protect Natalie while leaving her to be ruined by the kidnappers... She felt like a million needles were going through her heart. Her marriage to Tristan was already full of holes, she knew that. She just wasn't paying enough attention to notice it. Fenella went to the hospital that day to see her. Fenella was shocked to see Skye lying in the hospital, very weak. After that, she jumped on Skye and sobbed, "Skye, if I had known that Tristan was a man with a beast's heart, I wouldn't have encouraged you to marry him in the first place." Skye's eyes got a little smaller. She thought Tristan was a great man in the past because he was good-looking, talented, and had good character. He was now called a man with a beast's heart. She must have found out Tristan's secret. With care, Fenella took her phone out of her pocket and took a picture of the tie clip and the receipts. Indignantly, Fenella said, "Thank goodness I know the manager of that mall." She helped me find someone to buy this one-of-a-kind tie clip. That's right. It was bought for Tristan by Natalie. It's said that this tie clip represents being with your love. Skye got a chill in her blood and clenched her hands very hard. I think Tristan is cheating on you with Natalie," Fenella told Skye as she looked at her with worry. Skye, have you thought about what you're going to do next?" Skye said in a calm voice, "I want a divorce." Fenella sat down on a stool in front of Skye and began to lecture her. "Travis was told to get his brain checked by you. I think you should be the one to do that." Skye gave her a mean look. Because her neck was tied down, she had to move in an awkward way to change the way she saw. She looked a little more alive because of it.
