SIX PEOPLE WERE IN a huddle somewhere in Coronado, California, in the HQ of Navy Seals Team One.
A plan was being hatched to bring home Royal Australian Navy Clearance Diver, Bernard Mabo ‘Duck’ Cameron, otherwise known as ‘Merlin’ and his rescuers 4 Squadron of the SASR, led by Captain Bryce Mabo ‘Wolf’ Cameron.
The magician of the water had indeed survived. Not only had he managed to escape and evade his pursuers, he also managed this while aiding a wounded SEAL teammate who, unfortunately, hadn’t made it. This was the limit of their intel for now. Satellite communication had been kept to the absolute minimum to protect the warriors’ whereabouts, somewhere in Barawe, Somalia. They would have to wait until Merlin was back on safe ground before they could hear the full story.
