Ice POV
The next day, the royalty began their training again. Their determination was even more evident.
They started with a run around the training ground with heavy stones attached to their feet.
"Now, royalty, let's start your combat training," Sabrina said coldly.
The training continued - running, lifting heavy objects, one-on-one combat, and obstacle courses. The royalty pushed through, even though they were exhausted and weighed down.1
I smiled as I watched them. I remembered how Sabrina trained me in the Crystal Moon Forest when I first returned there. She was a terrifying trainer. I almost died under her guidance.
Tssk. This is not the time for your silly imagination, Mr. Ice.
Sabrina suddenly said to the person beside me, so I looked at her.
"You're so terror, Sabrina," I said to her..
"No, I'm not. It's just that you and your group are really lazy and got complacent when you relied on your powers," she replied, her tone laced with disdain. "You were so dependent."
I shook my head.
"Time's up, royalty. You have 10 minutes for your lunch break," Sabrina said coldly. The royalty immediately obeyed, knowing they couldn't afford to be slow.
Time passed quickly, and Sabrina called them back.
"Okay, royalty, come here to the center of the training ground,"
Sabrina said coldly. They all complied. "Now, we are going to start a new training. We are going to test your emotional and mental strength.
We need to face your greatest fear,"
.
Sabrina said in a cold tone. Ater that, the entire training ground was suddenly shr
ouded in complete darkness.
"Now, royalty, you need to sharpen your minds here. You need to sharpen your senses. Be aware of what's happening around you. Improve your senses because you are the only ones who can face your own fears," Sabrina said coldly.
Aliea PoV
Suddenly, complete darkness enveloped the entire training ground..
I instinctively grabbed Dustin's arm, and he looked at me worriedly. He knew I was afraid of the dark.
"Just hold my hand and don't let go," he said.
I nodded and remembered what Sabrina said: we had to face our fears..
I closed my eyes as a heavy silence descended upon the pitch-black surroundings.
Suddenly, a strong wind whipped through the air, causing me to lose my grip on Dustin's hand.
I opened my eyes, startled by the utter darkness and silence. My heart pounded in my chest.
"Dustin!" I called out loudly but there was no answer. I looked around frantically but couldn't see anything in the pitch-black
darkness. Fear was creeping up on me. I didn't know what to do.
I ran and ran through the dark, endless place, feeling increasingly terrified. Tears started streaming down my face.
"Aira, where are you?"
"Sandra, please answer me!"
I screamed, calling out for my friends, but it seemed like only I could hear my own voice. Where were they? Please.
I cried and cried until I collapsed on the cold floor, not knowing where I was or if I was still in the training ground.
Suddenly, I heard voices around me, unfamiliar voices.
"Who are you?" I asked, looking around but seeing nothing. "Show yourselves."
"Because of you, Almira is gone," the voices echoed. "Because of you, she's dead. It's your fault."
"No, no, no, please stop. I didn't do anything. It's not true," I pleaded.
I cried, covering my ears, shaking my head incessantly.
"ALI!"
I froze, my crying abruptly stopping at the familiar voice. I opened my eyes.
"Al... Almira?" I stammered.
She smiled at me. "I'm alive," I said, embracing her.
"Yes, Ali, I'm here. I'll never leave you again," she said softly, calming me down.
Every time I was scared of the dark, she was always there. And now, she was here again, not letting me down.
She helped me stand up. "Ali, do you want to come with me?" Almira asked.
I nodded.
She offered her hand. I was about to take it when I looked into her eyes and hesitated. They were lifeless, unlike the Almira I knew from childhood, who was always full of life and energy.
I was about to pull my hand back when she gripped it tightly.
It made me realize something. "No,
you're not Almira," I said.
"Yes, I am, Ali," she replied.
"No, you're not!" I shouted. "Who are you?" I cried again.
This was my greatest fear. Every time I was in danger, I hoped she'd return, but the truth was, my best friend was gone. I couldn't accept it.
"Accept the truth. Let it be your strength, not your weakness," she said.
I cried and slowly accepted it. Her image gradually faded before me.
I closed my eyes and felt the cool breeze on my skin. When I opened them, Sabrina and Ace were standing in front of me.
Dustin's POV
"Alira!" I shouted as I saw her running.
"Alira!" I called again, but it seemed like she couldn't hear me.
She just kept running.
Worried, I chased after her.
She suddenly stopped at the edge of a cliff.
"Ali, don't go there! You might fall!" I warned her, my voice filled with worry
I slowly walked towards her.
Then, without warning, she jumped off the cliff.
"ALIRA!" I screamed as I ran towards the edge.
I managed to grab her hand,
preventing her from falling completely.
"Why did you do that, Ali?" I asked.
She just looked at me.
"Don't let go. I'll pull you up," I said,
trying to hoist her up.
But to my shock, she suddenly let go of my hand.
"Alira!" I shouted again as she disappeared from sight.
I punched the ground, tears streaming down my face.
"I'm useless. I'm useless," I muttered to myself. I couldn't save the people I cared about. Almira was gone, and now Alira too. I was a terrible friend. I let the people I loved slip away.
I blamed myself, my mind going blank.
I was ready to jump off the cliff. This was my greatest fear: losing everyone I cared about. I closed my eyes and let myself fall.
But then I felt a hand grab mine. I opened my eyes and it was Aira.
Tears streamed down my face. 'I'm useless,' I cried out. I felt like I had failed everyone, especially Almira and Alira. I couldn't save them. I was the worst friend ever.
I blamed myself, my mind going blank.
Aira's Point of View
"DUSTIN!
" I shouted, relieved that I had managed to catch him before he fell. "Open your eyes, Dustin. Open your mind. This is our greatest fear that we need to face."
Slowly, his eyes fluttered open. "You mean..." he trailed off.
"This is the greatest fear we all have: losing the people important to us," I explained. "Just like you and me. Sabrina wants us to overcome these fears so that our enemies can't use them against us. We need to defeat these fears to become stronger."
As soon as I finished explaining, the darkness around us began to fade. We found ourselves standing in front of ten monstrous creatures, and there, to our surprise, were Sandra, Leander, and Alera, each facing their own monster.
"Good job, royalty," Sabrina's cold voice echoed. "Those monsters came from your hearts, representing your greatest fears. Now, defeat them and set yourselves free."
NO ONE POV
The royalty now understood why Sabrina wanted them to conquer their fears. It was to prevent these fears from hindering them as royalty.
They battled monsters using only their physical strength. After defeating them, they continued this rigorous training for several days. Gradually, they became faster and more agile, even with the heavy stones strapped to their bodies.
'Well done, royalty,' Sabrina said coldly, her voice filled with approval.
'Now, royalty,' she continued, 'it's time to use your powers.'
The royalty nodded in agreement.
'I want you all to concentrate,'
Sabrina instructed as they sat on the training ground, eyes closed.
Silence enveloped the area, broken only by Sabrina's voice. 'Breathe deeply. Feel the energy surging within you. Let it flow freely.'
The royalty could feel a strange energy coursing through their bodies. As Sabrina had instructed,
they let it flow.
Sabrina smiled. She could see the powerful wind swirling around Alira, the water manipulating around Sandra, the earth trembling under Dustin's control, and Leander summoning various weapons.
"A powerful, swirling vortex of dark and light surrounded Aira," Sabrina observed. "Excellent, royalty. Now, slowly raise your hands."
The royalty followed Sabrina's instructions.
"Channel all your power into your hands," Sabrina commanded.
The royalty, unfamiliar with this level of magical exertion, struggled but managed to focus their energy into their palms.
"No one Pov
Sabrina said solemnly.
The royalty nodded, their eyes fixed on Sabrina.
"From the earth's deep core, where magma ignites,
To the mountain peaks, bathed in morning lights,
Where granite sleeps and basalt dreams,
I call upon the stone, it softly gleams.
From rivers carved, where pebbles dance and gleam,
To ancient caves, where shadows softly stream,
Where crystals hold the starlight's grace,
I call upon the stone, to fill this space.
With strength and wisdom, ancient and deep,
Let the stone's magic, my spirit keep.
Unleash the power, wild and free,
Stone magic, answer, now to me!
The royalty echoed Sabrina's words, their voices blending in unison. As they spoke, a surge of powerful energy erupted from their hands. Crystals, each unique and vibrant, materialized, symbolizing the unique magical abilities of each royalty member.
"The royalty rose slowly, their gazes fixed intently on the glowing crystal stones cradled in their palms.
'These crystal stones,' Sabrina said, looking at Ice, 'symbolize your runes. You must protect them. Unite with the power the moon has granted you.'.
'Ice,' she continued, 'please assist the royalty.'
Ice nodded and took his place beside Dustine.
'Now, royalty,' Ice said, 'chant these words and feel the moon's power.'
He began,
...
'"Beneath the watchful gaze of the pale moon, / A call awakens, a mystical tune. / As one chosen, by lunar grace, / I embrace the night, find my rightful place."'
As they chanted, the royalty folded their hands over the stones and placed their right hands on their left shoulders.
A blinding light erupted, and the royalty cried out as a searing energy surged through them from the crystals.
Their forms began to shift and change."
They changed their clothes into warrior battle suits.
Aira is now wearing a white and black fitted metal top and a short plated metal skirt. She has a leather arm guard and knee-high metal boots. She's holding a gold and black sword in each hand. The unique symbol of her power, the Eclipse, is clearly visible on her left shoulder.
Meanwhile, Alira is wearing a white mortal top and shorts with a gold mortal belt. She has an arm guard on her right arm and white metal knee-high boots. She's holding buster swords and the Falcon symbol with a crystal stone on her left arm.
Sandra is now wearing a blue leather breastplate fitted top, a metal skirt, and a metal armor cape. She's also wearing knee-high boots. She's holding a blue whip in each hand and the symbol of the water dragon with a crystal stone.
Also ice is
wearing a red metal breastplate top, arm guards like wings, and leg guards. He has black leather pants and combat boots with a red cape. He's holding a red sword with a phoenix design. He has two phoenix symbols with a crystal stone on his left shoulder.
Dustin is wearing a green breastplate like a man's tank top. He also has arm guards and brown pants. He's wearing combat boots and holding a unique bow. The keon symbol with a crystal stone is on his left shoulder.
Liander is wearing a gray metal breastplate with a half-face metal mask. He has leather gray pants, left arm guards, and combat boots. He's holding a big sword. The crystal stone and the wolf symbol of his power are on his left shoulder.
Sabrina smiled mysteriously, observing the complete transformation of the M Royalty.
'The prophecy begins,'
she whispered to herself."
