Chapter 10: Petting Another DogEverything with Remy continued going well as we approached the beginning of the school year. We continued meeting for breakfast on Sundays, and the Friday before school started, Zharia and Jane wanted to go out drinking.
Remy and I agreed to go. I found myself secretly hoping to lose my inhibitions to sleep with him again. I’d really enjoyed myself the first time.
Before we left, we all met at Remy’s house, where we had a cozy dinner he’d prepared, along with several bottles of wine. We also played with Bark Ruffalo so he wouldn’t feel so lonely once we were gone. Then we called an Uber to take us to Club Soleil, the only gay bar in town.
