Unexpected Valentine

Emily wrapped up her shift at the Little Sprouts DayCare centre and stepped into the cool evening.The darkness was almost palpable,the only sound being the distant hum of crickets and the occasional passing cars. As she waited for Jack to pick her up ,she grew anxious .She checked her phone for what felt like the hundredth time,but there were no messages from him .The minutes ticked which already made her uneasiness deepen. Exhausted,she slid down the wall sitting on the cold pavement.She rested her head against the wall,closed her eyes and before she knew it she drifted off to sleep. As she slept ,she felt a sudden jolt. Shocked by the unexpected grip,she opened her eyes facing a masculine figure which tightly gripped her hand. Alarmed by the sudden movement of his hand on her body she tried to forcefully break free but to no avail it was rendered useless. Since she noticed he was too strong for her,she opened her mouth to let out a deafening scream but his hand swiftly clamped her mouth letting out a useless muffle. Tears strolling down her cheeks,to her all hope was lost. she stopped struggling when she realises she was losing strength and her breath. He notices her actions and smirks to himself with evil glittering eyes. "I've gotch ya now Cinderella"he chuckles Before he could reach out for her clothes,a sleek black car screeched to a halt behind them. Without hesitation the stranger strode towards them his fists clenched .The attacker caught off guard , loosening his grip on her.The stranger seized the opportunity,pinning the attacker against the wall. A fierce punch sent the attacker crashing to the ground.The stranger turned to lifeless Emily on the ground He stepped closer to her gently lifting her into his strong arms, cradling her like a child. He looked closely at her examining her face full of innocence and the aura of a baby's. 'what would she be doing here late at night'he thought as he gently caressing her face cleaning the tears off carrying into the car.
