The Billionaire's Heir
Chapter 1 "Stop, sir!" "I can't just do this, sir!" I'm still too tiny. Please, sir, I haven't had it! If there's anything more I can do for you, please let me know! " I apologize, sir! "I can't simply do it." Lina was sweating profusely as she fought with her sister's husband "Mr. Lugard ''. "Let me take off my clothes!" Wiat Sir yelled, attempting to free himself from his grasp. She deceived Mr. Lugard and fled, going directly to her room and locking the door. Isabella comes out of her as she hears the sound. "Dear, I'm hearing some yelling over there, hoping there's nothing." "No, darling, it's just Lina, who mistakenly poured water on me, but I figured she only recently woke up." "Don't call her; she has to apologize; nobody is perfect." He was afraid of his mistakes. After Isabella has returned to her bed. He felt bad about his conduct and went into the sitting room to rest with a drink of water. On the television to watch. He is a womanizer, and he has several concubines without his wife's notice. He made the whole scenario in the kitchen seem like an accident while doing so on purpose. Lina enters the room and unwinds, forgetting about the whole scenario of preparation for tomorrow's job "Good morning, ma. Leave it and let me watch the rest of the plate before I take my bath." Isabella walks away from the dish to wake her brothers. Isabella enjoys getting up early and doing housework. It was part of her daily routine. Lina is preparing to go to work after finishing her morning tasks. She works at a pub a bit farther away from their home. He usually takes a cap, but because of the rain that morning, Isabella encouraged her to follow her husband's vehicle so he could drop her off at the pub. "All right, ma, I'll be right home early," she said as she embraced Isabella and got into the vehicle. They rode on when the engine started. "Hey, Lina, can you hear what I'm saying?" Are you deaf to what I'm saying? Mr Lugard attempted to chat with Lina while driving but received no reaction. He was so disrespectful that he didn't consider what he had done wrong. "If you like, listen to me; if you dislike, don't listen to me." Mr. Lugard cleared his throat anxiously, his pulse beating with eagerness. He had been looking forward to this time for weeks, hoping to declare his strong affection for Lina. The stillness between them got thicker as they sat side by side, and he finally summoned the strength to speak. Mr. Lugard said, "Lina, I have something important to say," his voice wavering slightly. "I've known you for a long time, and I can't deny the deep bond I have with you. You mean a lot to me, and I would like to spend the rest of my existence with you. Lina was deafeningly quiet, and her attention concentrated on the passing lamps outside the vehicle window. Her rage was obvious, and Mr. Lugard's heart fell as he knew his timing had been catastrophic. He had misunderstood her feelings, and now he was afraid he had irreversibly harmed their relationship. Mr. Lugard softly massaged Lina's arm with a shaking hand. "Please, Lina, say something." I know you're upset, and I completely understand why. But please understand that my motives are sincere. I adore you and can't comprehend my life without you." Telling her lies, Lina slowly turned her head, her eyes filled with wrath and anguish. "Mr. Lugard, I appreciate your feelings, but I can't just forget what happened between us," she eventually said, her voice softened with sadness. "You've crossed lines, and it's had a significant impact on our friendship." I need time to think about everything and sort it all out. Mr. Lugard's eyes widened as he understood the enormity of his error. He had compromised not just their friendship but also whatever future they may have had together. He scolded himself privately for letting his hasty emotions cloud his judgment. "I understand, Lina," Mr. Lugard said, his voice trembling with regret. "I never intended to harm you. I'll give you all the time you need, and I hope that one day you'll be able to forgive me." Lina nodded, her face somewhat softening. "Thank you for your patience, Mr. Lugard. It will take time, but I will not fully close the door. They drove the remainder of the way in silence, each immersed in their own thoughts with sorrowful hearts. The air between them was heavy with unresolved emotions and anxiety about their future. She had arrived at the pub while Mr. Lugard stopped driving. Mr. Lugard said as he was walking down the stairs. "I apologize." Lina , She gives him an angry glance and waves her head. At the pub, Before nightfall, she has to do the work of cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning the pub. She always kept the area clean before her employer came. There are many people working at the bar, but he is the only one her supervisor values the most since he is a hardworking young girl. Ramon is a self-made billionaire who has been married for 10 years and has no children. He owns a billionaire group and has great influence in the city. He also has a construction company and recently submitted a proposal for a major project in his state, but he has yet to receive a response. He has been worrying about the project for months. "Have you received any mail from the client we spoke to last week?" Mr. Ramon asked, his gaze fixated on his secretary. "No, sir," the secretary said, her voice laced with concern. "I haven't gone through the mail yet this morning." "Should I start right away? "Yes, please," Mr. Ramon insisted, his excitement building. "The contract we discussed is extremely important to our company." I'm optimistic that we'll be able to secure it." With a feeling of urgency, the secretary rushed to the office computer. She logged into her email account and browsed through the messages with apprehension. Then there was a subject line that caught her interest. She questioned herself if she could be a bearer of good news or bad, wondering if it would be the mail.
