MY HANDS WERE BOTH SHAKING AS I WAIT a few meters away from the delivery room where Atarah is giving birth to our child. I was feeling anxious and worried at the same time but instead of entertaining those emotions, I chose to calm down and wait. Atarah is one hell of a woman and I know she can do it.
I waited for another minute until finally a woman pushing a thing that carries the baby went out of the delivery room. My heart almost exploded as my eyes locked on that small thing inside a box made with transparent glasses. I can't believe I am seeing the little person who went out to the woman I treasure the most.
“f**k,” I mumbled with a shaky voice as I felt my eyes watered.
