“Are you ready to go?” Ava wanted to go see the wreckage where her home used to be. I tried to explain to her that it wasn’t important, and she shouldn’t put herself through that pain, but she insisted on going.
“Yeah, I think I am. Where’s Karter?”
“Him and Jess are waiting downstairs for us.”
