An entire year had disappeared and honestly, I have no idea where the time went. Work was always busy, and when I wasn’t with Lis, Tara (Lis’ girlfriend) or Leah, I was consumed by Skylar’s.
Maria was starting to slow. I forget that she is almost ten years older than the day I met her, and at 66, she is still amazing, but I know she can’t do quite as much anymore, so I take on more.
Leah was jet setting back to Crete this summer, to teach, and I needed to replace her, I couldn’t ask Maria to take on anymore. Liam, the guy who was working part time for me had agreed to take on extra hours over the holidays to cover Leah’s which was a help.
