Summer pulled from our kissed, looking at me with fear in her eyes. Did I move too fast for her?
“I would like to take a shower.” She told me. “Will you stay and make sure I stay protected?”
I placed my hand on her cheek. “I will always be by your side, Summer.” I assured her. “You have nothing to worry about. I will sit out here and wait for you while you clean up.”
“Thank you, Lykeon.” She smiled, grabbing one of her bags, and went into the bathroom. I sighed, rubbing my face, thinking what the hell I was thinking of kissing her.
