It felt so good sleeping with Summer next to me. Mars was going nuts in my head, wanting to make her his, mine, ours, but I had to remind him again that Summer was not ready for us to mark her yet. I woke up in the morning, and Summer was still asleep, with her head on my chest and her arm tightly wrapped around my stomach. This would be the last time I get to hold her until I get back from Seattle. Jules has made plans for our trip, contacting Jacoby to meet us there with a small team of warriors to help us find Summer’s family. He will meet us at the airport, then we will head to Summer’s dad’s house first, and make sure they are safe. Then, we will go to Port Angeles to find her mom.
