Ellie lay snuggled into Vigor’s arms, her eyes closed. Since she had spoken to the elf two weeks earlier they had spent a lot of time together. Cherry didn’t know that Vigor spent the nights in Ellie’s bed. He simply materialized in her room instead of coming through the front door. She had not yet dared to ask the elf what would happen with them when his task was over. She was more than willing to go with him, but she had no idea whether he wanted that, too. He did make love to her with immense passion every night, but that didn’t necessarily mean that he reciprocated her feelings.
