"Zhekera, wake up. We'll be late on school", my older brother is knocking at my door. It was our first day in school. Summer is done and I can't still get over on our vacation. I'm a third year high school student and my older brother is in his last year in Culinary Arts in one of the well-known school in Manila. Our younger brother is on his 6th grade. He wants to bring me and Cris in school on our first day because 2 weeks from now he'll be living for school. We live in one of the best place here in Orient. The area is dappled with waterfalls and rainforest. Many tourists come and go in the pristine white sandy beaches and the glorious-blue waters in our place. After taking a shower. I get my uniform in my walk-in closet. I need to double-time so my older brother Ezekiel Zhachary won't be upset on me. While combing my hair at the front of the mirror. I was looking forward for seeing my old friends again. Spend time on the library for some research, going to the canteen for snacks, and staying on the benches while watching the games in the field and courts. Those are the things that we usually do. I went down to go in the dining area. There I saw my parents and two brothers eating breakfast and talking...waiting for me. "Good morning Dad and Mom", I said while walking near the dining table. "Sit down Zhekie and eat your breakfast. EZ will dropped you and Krisstoff to school today", mom said. "Can you also pick them up this afternoon EZ? I will be busy at the hotel. We still have lots of guests coming.", dad asked. "No, problem dad.", EZ replied. While Kris is busy on his plate. I just put bacon and hotdog on my plate. My parents are the one who's managing my grandparents resort here in Orient. Dad also have a vegetable farm and banana plantation in the next town. He supplies veggies and banana in some places. "Finish your food Krisstoff and put your phone down", EZ scolded Kriss. "I was just replying on our GC", Kriss said. "He's just excited to meet his crush brother.", I said. My parents also laugh and EZ laugh while Kriss is staring at me with cold eyes. "Tsk...as if you're not'', Kriss said before he stand up and kiss Mom's cheeks. "Good luck on your first day", Mom kissed him back. We all stand up in the dining and our parents send us off in EZ's car. We say goodbye to our parents before he drove the car to our school. I'm on the back seat and Kriss is on the front seat. My younger brother is still upset on me because of what I've said in our breakfast. I whispered on his left ear and I said sorry for earlier. "Hey, baby brother. Can you please forgive me?", I said in a little voice. "Zhekie stopped bothering Kriss on your first day.", EZ said while driving. "I just want to say sorry Zach", I said then I crossed my arms. "Apology accepted Zhekera. Can you please shut your mouth. Right Krisstoff?" EZ said and looked to Kriss. "Yeah...", Kriss said in a creep smile. "Good. You two should stopped fighting. I'll be leaving for Manila 2 weeks from now. So, I don't want to hear anything about the two of you doing some crazy fights.", EZ said while focusing on the road. "Sorry, Zach. You know sometimes Zhekie is so irritating and can't control her mouth.", Kriss said. "Yeah. We all know that so as a younger one you should understand her.", EZ said while laughing. Krisstoff is also laughing and I'm so annoyed for them. Seems like the two of them, team up against me. What should I do to cope with the situation? I know he's using his power for us to be okay. My brother Eze is the best brother in the world. He's very responsible and he's a great chef in the making. Our family is so proud on his achievements. He's always there for us. He stopped the car near the gate of our school. "We're here. I just pick you up guys later. I'll just go to the hotel to help Dad and Mom". "Thanks Zach. Take care.”, I said. "Stop the fight okay? Good luck on your first day." We both nodded and wave goodbye as he drove the car. Kriss walked first as he saw his group of friends and I walked towards the High School Department building to see my friends and classmate. "Hopefully this school year will bring many achievements and blessings to me." I sighed and continue walking to our building.
