"What do you want to play tonight, sweetheart?" I ask.
"Watch TV!" she shouts.
"You know, watching less TV is better for your eyesight," I say. "Eyesight is very important for wolves."
"Then Lego!" Coco decides.
"No problem," I reply.
"Can you join us, Uncle Alex?"
"Of course," Alex says, smiling warmly at her.
Before long, the living room carpet is a sea of colorful Lego pieces. Cookie the cat navigates through the gaps, tail high in the air. It's amazing how she never steps on any of the blocks.
Coco is completely absorbed in constructing her "Rainbow Unicorn Castle," her little brow furrowed with concentration. Alex sits cross-legged beside her, helping her interpret the instructions.
