"Chris! CHRIS wake up!" Jessica yelled. "Your lunch is over and there was a car accident and they have ambulance's on there way in". "I am up I'm on my way". Up out into the hall I hear the sirens going from the ambulance that is pulling up. "Well this is going to be a long night". I said to myself. My name is Christina people call me Chris. We live in a world that has changed from humans to supernatural over night. When I was a kid a war broke out between vampire's and werewolves. No one knew that there was actually things living out in the world like the books people read. After the word got out humans in the government tried to control that war. But all they did was get in the way thousands of humans died. Now years later we stay nutral between the sides. When I was five my mom started seeing this man. Come to find out it was a vampire. But not just any vampire the king vampire himself. The big guy, the head honcho who new? Not me. My mom let me know they where in love and that they are getting married and she is going to become a vampire. Yeah that's a lot to take in when your only twelve and the world is at war. She told me I'm going to be going to live with Jessica because a vampire world is not place for me. Because I refused to be changed with her. So I moved in with Jessica and her family and we have been together ever since. I still talk to my mom on holidays I get a phone call. Don't get me wrong when I was younger I was really upset about the whole ordeal. But now that I am older I understand what she did was to keep me safe. But deep down I knew it was selfish of her. She is still my mom and I love her. Jessica and I graduate high school and we both went to nursing school together. We also got our own place in the country together because we both agreed we did not want to be alone in this world. Growing up with Jessica all the boys really loved her because she is so beautiful. She has bright green eyes, mid length black hair. She is five foot three every man's dream girl of curves and beauty. Me on the other hand I was a giant. I am five foot eleven and yes the air is nice up here. I breath just fine. I have long blonde hair that goes down to my ass. It's naturally curly and some days I can not tame it at all. I look like a mad lion on the loose in a zoo most days because how crazy it can get. I have deep blue eyes and I do have curves don't get me wrong I have D breasts and a fat ass but no one has ever complained on a fat ass. I have big pouty lips and a nose that suits my face. I didn't date I never really had a boy friend either. Who could say that they where twenty three years old and has only been kissed twice. Me that's who can you say no life! ----------- Finally my shift was over at the hospital and changing my clothes in the dressing room. When Jessica barges in and damn near gives me a heart attack and I fall backwards off the bench I was sitting on trying to put my pants on. "What the hell Jess you damn near gave me a heart attack. What are you going to do if you accidentally really give me one then what?" I asked her. "Hahahaha I would just bring your ass back to life and continue doing it to you for the rest of our lives." Was her answer. "So why did you run in here for?" "Oh one of the guys I saved tonight gave me tickets to this club. We both are going." but what she didn't know is that I'm so damn tired all I want to do is go to bed so that's a big hell no. "There is no way I am going out tonight I am so damn tired. Can I just go with you tomorrow night because we have two days off?" I asked her. "Yeah that's fine but I'm going to hold that to you Chris it will be fun and you need to get out more. So when you get home you better message me to let me know you made it and I'll see you later tonight or tomorrow morning if you know what I mean" she said. "I promise I'll let you know. Now get the hell out of here and go have some fun I love you." After she left I finished changing and made my way out the front doors and into the night air. On my way home I started to doze off and I did not want to fall asleep at the wheel. I rolled my windows down and blared the radio till I pulled into my drive way. Out here in the country it is so peaceful and quiet. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Stepping out of my car and grabbing all my crap I headed towards the house. when I was reaching the porch I heard a whining noise on the side of the house. You know when the girl hears a scary noise out side by her self and then she dies because she is not smart enough to run. Well that girl is me. I reach into my purse and pull out my hang gun. yes I said hand gun I'm not a bad ass by any means but I'm not going to die easily. Reaching the side of the house I start to hear growling and that's when I saw them and I froze. On the ground there was this massive black wolf and he looked like he was hurt. From where I stood I could see he was all black but his tail. But it was covered in blood. and on the edge of the forest there was a brown wolf that is not as near as the big black wolf laying on the ground. Coming back to reality I finally realized that the wolf needed help. I pointed the gun at the brown wolf and pulled the trigger. The shot rang out into the night. The brown wolf took off to the woods. I started to sprint over to the big wolf that was laying on the grown to see if I could do something to help it. When I reached him I got down on my knees and that's when it looked at me. He had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen. That's if him was not a her because who new. I didn't that's for sure. But for some reason those eyes where drawing me in. There was something behind those eyes that felt like it was pulling me closer. That's when I felt a sharp pain on my left arm and look down where my arm is propping me up and it's bleeding. Then I look up to see the brown wolf was right in from of us. I froze I was so scared I didn't even have my gun in my hand anymore I laid it on the grown to look at the other wolf. Before I could react the massive black wolf had the brown wolf's throat in this mouth. I heard a loud crunch and that's when the black wolf let go and the brown one fell to the ground life less. I went back to checking on the black wolf and it looks like it passed out. "What the hell do I do now?" I say out loud.
