Kai's POV
My heart thumped so hard that I could feel my ribs cracking. I could not look at her too much because she wouldn't like any of that, and I had to. My whole being wanted it. I wanted to rip her clothes off and kiss every part of her body till she has no other will than to be mine, but she would not want any of it.
The boys were talking about Tiana. They hadn't stopped teasing me about it, and as much as I wanted to bark at them, I kept myself quiet.
“Truman, go and get sober!” I growled. “I must not be disturbed anymore.”
That was all that got them to stop.
“How close are you to getting it, Mustan?” I asked, regarding the CCTV footage.
“The code is loading already. Might take about thirty more minutes, but I'd get it.” He assured me.
“Good job.” I said, thumbing him up.
