Aurora's POV
Caitlin dropped me off at the place we'd have our date. Most of the drive was silent, but the chaos that raged in my head was beyond words. I was literally already losing my mind.
As I walked in, Jonathan waved at me with a smile. He was looking very handsome, and for a moment, the burden and weight in my chest was lifted. I walked over to him with a smile, and he stood to help me in. He drew the chair backwards, and helped me settle in.
“Why thank you.” I chuckled and he laughed.
“You look absolutely stunning.” He said, looking serious.
I've come to accept that no one would look at me the way Kai looks at me. No one would ever have the hunger he has for me. No one might be able to want me the way I want to be wanted.
