Chapter 89

1768 Words

Aurora's POV I had gotten a quick text from Jonathan that was around, but I didn't expect it to be so quick that he'd get into the room like that. I could smell the masculine rivalry between the two of them. It was silent, but it wasn't non-existent. I wasn't sure which hurt more; Kai looking at my sister or anyone else more than he'd look at me? Or Tiana's arm in his, and how comfortable he was with it? Or the fact that they definitely spent the night together, sinning? I wasn't sure which one caused me pain. I watched Kai leave, and every part of me tingled to follow him, but I remained glued to the spot. In my head, I was running after him, but in reality, I was just standing with Jonathan who was saying stuff I wasn't hearing. Caitlin left a while after, I wasn't sure what for.
