Aurora's POV
I walked away from Kai, and I tried everything in my power to make sure I wasn't looking back. Looking back would make me run over to hug him. I could not put myself in the position again.
I looked over to the side, and Caitlin tightened her seat belt.
“I don't understand what is going on between y'all now.” Caitlin said, driving out speedily. I could not respond because I did not have the right words for any of the things I was feeling.
I was vibrating on my seat, and my body was fully turned on. His tough voice that became soft upon talking to me, was making me think about him. I was breathing hard though we had gotten far away from him. I was drawing vivid pictures of him in my head over and over again, and my mind was making up scenarios, and bringing up past ones.
