The hardest thing about everything that happened was to walk away from her. It was already hard enough that I was acting like I did not give two f***s, and playing dumb to everything happening between us was making is worse. Staying close to her meant I could secretly lean in and sniff her in whilst looking at her like I don't care.
Tiana grabbed me, and I rode out of there with immediate alacrity, before I'd be drawn back to her, and controlling my legs would suddenly become my biggest problems.
