Aurora's POV
The night went by fast. Ruby popped a celebratory champagne drink, but she had just water because the doctor allowed just water.
We ate and had fun, because with this, no jury should be able to walk over the fact that Kai was most likely framed.
I could not call Kai to tell him because it'd be weird, and worse still, he could be with Tiana, making babies and doing disgusting things.
Thankfully, the next day came quick enough. Ruby's presence in my fashion world made it even easier for me. She styled me well enough to look like I was going to see the love of my life, not a suspect in my case.
“Now, if Kai sees you like this, he'd forget that you've been a b***h ass lady, and will just fall absolutely in love with you again.” Ruby giggled.
