Aurora's POV
I slept off at the office, and Caitlin stayed with me all night. It was like she was pacifying me for keeping such huge secrets from me. I was on a call with Jonathan all through the time I was having my bath and doing other things.
When I got back inside, Caitlin was already prepared for whatever we were going to do next.
“So, where to this morning?” Caitlin asked.
“Let's go see Micah and a few other of his coworkers.”
“Well, I checked him out, and he's absolutely clean.” Caitlin said. “Whoever was laundering money wasn't him. It had to be someone else, so we have to find whoever else is doing this.”
“Oh shit.” I shrugged. “A conversation wouldn't hurt though.”
“Yeah, why not?” Caitlin shrugged, and we left the office.
As our usual practice was, we got hamburgers
