Kai's POV
“Who's this please?” I asked, keeping calm.
“It's Ruby!” She said with a softer tone. I felt calmer after hearing her name.
“You had me scared for a second.” I shrugged. “What do you need help for?”
“I really need to see you, that's if it's not too late, and you're not too busy.” Ruby said over the phone.
I peeped through the door, and Lucia was seated inside.
“What exactly do you need?” I asked, feeling a little indecisive.
“A friend? My mom's out with another boyfriend, and Aurora is busy.” She said.
“Okay. Send me the address again. I'll be there in a jiffy.” I said.
“Thank you.” She squealed.
I ended the call, and I went in. Lucia jumped at me a few seconds later. I hugged her back, rubbing her back.
