I didn't really pay attention to anything Caitlin said. I was focused on entering the courtroom and trying to get Jones safe despite the odds.
“So, I'll go and check it out now.” Caitlin said.
“Make sure you're back to pick me up,” I begged, “that last trial messed me up.”
“I'll be back.” She promised. “If you need anything, just send a text, you know how fast I'd come running.”
“O my God, why aren't you a man?” I asked, chuckling and we went our separate ways.
