Aurora's POV
It was finally time for Michael's bail hearing. I did not see Caitlin anymore the previous day, and I was literally useless. I could barely do anything after finding out that Kai was hurt, and hurt that bad.
I got to the court house early, and Caitlin met me there, just in time for me to have everything I needed to know.
“So, Michael has to…” Caitlin started saying when I cut her off.
“How is Kai?” I asked, fiddling with my hands, trying to calm my thumping heart.
“I don't know.” Caitlin shrugged. “The doctors wouldn't let anyone go in except Tiana, but I heard that he's fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“I'm just saying what the doctors said, I don't think we have any other choice.” Caitlin sighed. “And before you ask, he'd be able to make it to court tomorrow morning.”
