*Chloe’s POV*
“Chloe!” Zoe grabbed my shoulders roughly. “I have been calling you for an hour. Why didn’t you answer the mind link?” She asked, pulling me in for a hug.
“No time to talk. Where is Ruby?” I asked her, looking around, finding only her and Rafael.
“I didn’t want them to suspect anything so I sent her spirit back.” She answered, making me slightly relieved, but not at the same time.
“We have to go. She is in greater—” I was about to finish the statement, but remembered that Rafael was here and I didn’t want him to have a panic attack and cause a delay in our return. We all had to make rational decisions if we want this to work. That and get the other packs to meet there as soon as possible.
“She is in greater what?” Rafael asked tensely, walking closer to us. f**k. Now
