*Alejandro’s POV*
It was going to be another long day, even longer not having my beautiful mate at my side. I had left her early this morning to get going on a strategy to get Ruby back and end those fūckers once and for all. I wasn’t happy about leaving my mate’s side, but I had to do what I had to do as an alpha.
I didn’t leave until the doctor confirmed again that both my mate and pup were healthy. It didn’t matter how many times he told me, I was still anxious. If she was so healthy, why hadn’t she woken up? Don’t even get me started on Reina’s size. She looked easily full term this morning. I’m no expert at that, but she looked just as big as Winter and Ruby when they were about to pop.
“Earth to Alex!” Polo snapped his fingers in my face, making me shake my head to focus on him.
