*Xander’s POV*
Why the f**k was Ruby here? I felt my fists clench at my sides as I looked between her and the fūcking double we had sent. He was only supposed to grab the necklace. Nothing more, nothing less.
Her eyes narrowed as she looked at me with hate. I get it. I almost killed Reina and those two are fūcking close. That didn’t mean that I would physically hurt Ruby though. I saw her like a baby sister. I have known her for years and I was meant to be her older brother when Reina and I marked each other. But it didn’t happen, unfortunately. Yet, I still had a soft spot for Ruby, even after everything that her sister did to me.
“What is this?” The warlock asšhole asked with a smile as he walked slowly to the double.
