I had just finished explaining what I knew about the attack to Zoe, and she was in tears. “Where’s my sister?” She sobbed as she grabbed my hands.
“Well, they are trying to get that information out of the warlocks that had attacked you guys.” I said as I lifted one of my hands to wipe her tears away.
“I have to help.” She said as she lifted the hospital sheets off her.
“No, wait.” I told her, pushing her back. “You have to wait until they release you. You don’t know—” I was saying as she shook her head.
