Chapter 12: meeting the alphas

Emily POV:
We got outside and saw Michael and Lilly arrive. We greeted them and we went in to the office to talk. There was a knock on the door when Dr Lisa Thomson walked in. “I’m sorry Alpha, but the rouge died last night at 00:15.” I hit the desk out of rage , “Thank you for trying Dr Thomson.” I said as I sat down again. I mind linked my bata Rachel to come to my office. A few moments later there was a knock on the door. “Come in Rachel.” I said. “You summoned me alpha.” She asked, looking around the room. “Come sit down Rachel.” I said. she walked over to the open chair in front of my desk and sat down. “I assumed you heard that the rouge we apprehended last night died?” I asked looking at her. “Yes alpha, I heard what can I do for you?” She asked. “I want you to let everyone know that we will be training twice as hard from now on, to inshore the packs safety.” I said. “Yes alpha, I will let everyone know that from tomorrow we will be training extra hard and I’ll have the guards at the border double.” She said. “Thank you Rachel, that’s all I needed.” I said and Rachel walked out. “We would like to join your training alpha Emily.” Michael said from where he was sitting. “Everyone is welcome werewolves and vampires. We need to protect our territory, if they are attacking because of the relationship between you and Lilly you need to be able to defend yourselves.” I said. Lilly and Michael nodded, when we formulated the lie we knew there would be some werewolves even vampires that wouldn’t like the idea of being united. We expected some sort of retaliation, we just didn’t expect an attack. “I think everyone should go home and rest for the rest of the rest of the day tomorrow the real training begins.” I said as I got up to greet everyone.
Lilly POV:
The meeting didn’t go as planned but at least we have some sort of idea as to why the rouges are attacking. Me and Michael spent the rest of the day shopping and walking around the mall. We got home made dinner and went to bed around 22:00 so that we would be well rested for the next day’s training. I woke up got out of bed, Michael was still sleeping so I didn’t wat to wake him. I went downstairs to make coffee and breakfast. I finished eating a bowl of All Bran and went upstairs. I got upstairs and got out a pink and black short and a pink shirt, that hugged me tight. I got dressed, when I walked into the room Michael got up and gave me a hug. “You look amazing babe.” He said, we went downstairs and he ate breakfast while I filled out water bottles. He got dressed and we left for training. We arrived at the packhouse and went straight to the training area. The whole pack was there which was 20 wolves excluding the children who couldn’t turn yet and the elderly and the pregnant women. The vampires arrived shortly after we did almost 30 of them. Everyone came to the training arena. “Everyone line up!” Emily shouted and we all lined up. She walked up and down the line and said, “You all need to take this training seriously, it can be the difference between life and death. Rouges are attacking us and we need to be able to protect ourselves and loved ones. We will be training every morning at 08 o’clock, don’t be late. We will be training in groups, in both wolf form as well as human form. We will also be training one on one. Any questions?” Nobody answered. “Let’s get started.” She said. We paired off into groups, Michael and Clayton were one on one and me and Rose were one on one.” We trained until 11:00 and then we went home for the day. The training wasn’t so bad, but I did hurt my shoulder while throwing Rose over my shoulder to get out of her grip. Michael messaged my shoulder and we watched movies, and relaxed. The next few days were quiet or so we thought.
*A FEW DAYS LATER*
We got to the packhouse at 07:30 and saw 4 cars standing outside. We walked in to get a drink of water before starting when Rose came down the stairs. “I was just about to call you, we have a problem.” She said with a worried look on her face. “What’s wrong?” Michael asked. “Four packs have been attacked by rouges the last few days. The alphas are here to talk to us about forming alliances, and working together to stop the rouges.” She explained. We walked upstairs into the office. Emily smiled at us and introduced us. “This is alpha Brandon from The Shadow pack, alpha Toby from The Blood pack, alpha Angela from the blue moon pack and alpha Adrien from The cursed moon pack.” We sat down and the meeting started. “My pack was attacked by a group of rouges a few days ago they killed 20 wolves.” Toby said. “In my pack there were 25 killed.” Angela said. “Okay, I know that you’re in pain and angry that you lost pack members but that is why we are, to form a union and protect our packs.” Emily said. The meeting went on for a few hours. After the meeting I agreed to show the alphas out training grounds, where their packs will train. We all went outside and showed the alphas around and what type of training we do and how we train. As we were watching Rose and Rachel train Michael put his arm around me and pulled me close. A low growl came from behind us and I tuned around to see who was growling at me but I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. The alphas agreed that they and their packs would come train with us every day from tomorrow.
