Chapter 6: The meeting part 2

Lilly POV

I walked to the cave where I was now living, lost in thought of what just happened. Why was he there? Was he looking for me? Was I right to give him a chance? Could we actually become something?

I got in my sleeping bag and fell asleep. I dreamt of him that night.

Michael POV

I went home, I took a shower and ordered takeaways. I got a 2 Liter Coke, and a Whopper form Burger King. I ate my food and went to bed. I had the best sleep I’ve had in my whole life.  The alarm woke me up at 08:00. “I am so excited to see her, I hope she comes and didn’t change her mind about giving me a chance.” I thought to myself. I packed us a picnic basket, and took a red and black blanket for us to sit on. I got in my car and drove to the waterfall. I got out and saw her waiting for me. She had on a green shirt and a jean. She walked towards me and I couldn’t wait to hear her sweet voice.

(M is for Michael, L is for Lilly)

M: “I wasn’t sure you’d actually show up.”

L: “I promised you a chance and I keep my word.”

M: “I hope you’re hungry, I brought a picnic basket.” I walked over to my car and got the brown woven basket out. I looked over tot her and she seemed confused.

M: “Everything okay? You look confused.”

L: “No, I just didn’t picture you as the type who does picnics.”

M: “Well, I do… It seems you have a lot to learn about me.”

L: “It seems that way.”

I threw the blanket on the ground a few feet away from the river. It was the perfect place for a picnic, the water was clear, there were trees all around, little flowers of purple, red and orange grew on the round next to us and the grass was a beautiful dark green color.  I patted the seat next to me so she would come sit down. She walked over and sat down, while I unpacked the basket. There was grapes, apples, sandwiches with cheese and ham, cocktail sticks with small onions, ham and cheese and a few chocolates. She sat down and started to eat, I could tell she enjoyed it. I giggled which caused her to become self-conscious. “I’m sorry for laughing, you just look so cute when you eat.” I said with a smile. I could see her blushing as she continued her feast. After we ate, we sat and talked for a little while about anything the came to mind. As the sun set, I looked into her eyes and saw the person I want to be with for as long as possible. I decided to make the most of the opportunity and leaned in for a kiss. As our lips touched for the very first time, I felt complete. She didn’t pull away like I expected but instead she leaned into the kiss. When I broke away my lips felt empty. She greeted me, and said thank you for the amazing time, and that she would see me here tomorrow.  I drove home, and thought of how her lips tasted like strawberries. I fell on my bed thinking about her as I drifted into a deep sleep.

Lilly POV 

I woke up as the sun came up. I walked to the town in werewolf territory, to buy me new clothes, before I see Michael. I arrived in town and wanted to get my clothes and get out before my old pack finds out I’m here. I walked over to the PQ, it wasn't very big so it was easy to find the stuff that I wanted to ware, I bought a green shirt and a pair of jeans, with the last bit of my money. I walked over to the waterfall, he wasn’t there yet. “I don’t think he’s coming.” I said to Sara. “He’ll come trust me.” She replied in a sweet voice. A few moment later Michael’s car arrived and he got out. I walked over to him.

(M is for Michael, L is for Lilly)

He threw a blanket on the ground and patted the seat next to him so I would sit down. As I sat down he unpacked the basket ad there were grapes, apples, sandwiches with cheese and ham, cocktail sticks with small onions, ham and cheese and a few chocolates. I started to eat and enjoyed it so much, I haven’t had good food like this since the pack kicked me out. He giggled and I become a little self-conscious, because he was watching me eat. ”I’m sorry for laughing, you just look so cute when you eat.” He said with a smile. I started to blush, which I tried to hide, but he saw. I continued to enjoy myself. After we ate we talked about everything and anything. As the sun set we looked into each others eyes and the most unexpected thing happened, Michael kissed me. I was shocked but I like it so I leaned into the kiss. When we broke the kiss I felt alone, I wanted his lips on mine. I greeted him and thanked him for the amazing time, I told him that I would see him here tomorrow. I went back the cave that I’ve been staying in and went straight to sleep. I dreamt about our kiss and out time together today.

We continued to see each other every day for weeks.
